Queen ambrosia POV***

I watched in horror as my daughter let her vampiric side take over. And at that instant, I knew it started something must have happened to her mate. She the begun to trace her mate's scent. I was familiar with all of this cuz something similar once happened to Reagan my mate and at the thought of it, my eyes welled with tears. This curse was indeed unbreakable. 

**FLASHBACK(A CENTURY AGO) **

I looked at the ancient witch of Mandrogora as Reagan battled with her fiercely. I was supplying him my life force thus couldn't join the battle. He raised his sword and as gods will have it, he managed to pierce her heart. The exact place her life force was stored. The witch of Mandrogora was finally down. I was ecstatic and jumped into Reagan's arms. But my joy came too soon. The witch looked at us with extreme hatred and she begun to cackle "hahahaha I may be down now but doesn't mean I will just leave without making a stance"

She then begun to chant in the language of the ancients and I listened in horror. "Ti malediciu è a to famiglia. Da questu ghjornu in avanti, ogni volta chì incontru i vostri cumpagni, passerete u dulore di a separazione per dui anni umani. Solu elli cù un ligame eternu è una separazione di l'ànima romperanu sta maledizione. Questu hè pronunciatu nantu à u mo ultimu soffiu". 

When she was done chanting. She looked at us with hatred and she knew I understood her words, our generation was doomed. Reagan sunk to his feet as he heard the curse and begun to stab the ground repeatedly. I just stood in shock as I cried my eyes out. My world had just begun to fall apart.

***Author's note *** :How about we pause this here loves 🥺🤧and oh the translation for the curse is "I curse you and your family. From this day henceforth, anytime you encounter your mates, you'll go through the pain of separation for two human years. Only they with an eternal bond and a soul separation shall break this curse. This is I pronounce on my last breath".

Ever since then, I have always lived in fear of the day that my daughter will meet her mate. I knew It would come with happiness and then extreme pain and I knew from the curse that the only way to save my little princess and her beloved was by doing the forbidden ritual and her mate. "The soul separation". It was a ritual in which the soul would be taken from a vampire. After the life force, the soul was the most important thing a vampire had and now my daughter was going to loose her's.

Reagan had gone across the world hoping to find a way but the final curse of a witch is irreversible only the condition left in her curse can lift it. My baby had to pay the price.

I watched from a close distance as my Aurora darling kicked into one of the rooms and dragged Princess Clara out.

Clara was a spoilt brat I never liked but I endured her for Aurora's sake and from the horrified looks on Clara's face, I decided to read her mind and was shocked. She had forcefully sent Aurora's mate back to the human realm..!! All because she was obsessed with Aurora.

But I immediately became more alarmed because I saw Aurora go still and knew it would only be a matter of time before she ripped Clara to bits. She had read her mind. Clara took one look and begun to beg. 

"Please your highness, I beg you to tell Aurora to release me. What is going on". Hmmm so she could act so composed, oh well I can't help her anymore. Aurora needed to satisfy her vampiric beast and at the speed of light, she had detached Clara's head from her body. Aurora looked at her in disgust and then turned to me. "Mother, mate gone" and she collapsed she looked so pitiful and I couldn't but cry as I carried her in my arms and took her to my chambers.

I put a magical seal on her which was unbreakable. I also had to summon Reagan immediately to perform the ritual. There was nothing else that could be done now. I broke down as I sobbed. My baby was going to be transformed from a loving and adorable princess to a full fledged cruel bloodsucker. "Curse that evil Mandrogora". I yelled still in tears. I did a summoning spell and I saw my Reagan appear before me. He looked stunned to see me like this but when he saw our daughter bond by my own magic. He looked disappointed in himself. I knew he had tried so hard but only one thing could help in this case. It was the soul separation ritual and the mate bond.

The soul separation ritual was not something to rush into but Reagan and I, ahead of time, had already prepared the ingredients for it. It was supposed to be as last resort and looks like it is.

I looked at my princess with tears in my eyes as I kissed her cheek and bidded my gentle Aurora farewell. Only her mate could bring her back.
