Regaining a part of that memory made me realize how strange it was to see this milkshake cup all over town since elementary and never knowing which stores, franchises, or supply stores it belonged to. I was born and raised in this town and in all my life, I don't know any stores that sell milkshakes that come with this cup design, but yet the cup is littered all over town. At first, I believed it came from a small independent business, but it didn't add up because I've seen this cup all over town and it would be pretty weird for buyers to buy this milkshake from one location, and then litter it halfway through the town. It also couldn't be a novelty prop, so I crossed that out as well. My mom runs a Mom-and-Pop store and sometimes takes me to the food service supply store. They sell and distribute plain white milkshake cups, but not the ones with the cartoon hippo design. I don't know why I've never told many people about this. I have never put too much thought into it back then. But it was only now that I realized.
