The Kitesong Trilogy: Flight (Book 1)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! (2022)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our boys!

I wanted to share the full image of our precious boys to celebrate this year's Christmas and the upcoming new year! Thank you again to my talented artist friend, blizz-mii, for producing this gorgeous piece.

Thank you for reading the story thus far. It's an amazing personal milestone that I'm still uploading and I hope to continue sharing the tales of Etraon and friends with you into 2023. Stay tuned for new friends, more snark, and hopefully visually evocative text that will transport you to the land of Zourik.

The second half of Chapter 3 will be uploaded a little earlier than usual next Saturday to make sure you can wrap it up before the end of 2022.

xoxo,

Elfarine

I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com

FLIGHT: Etraon’s Story
A young crown prince who wants to earn his place.
An empire hiding dangerous secrets.
A darkness no one in the capital is prepared for.

Crown Prince Etraon dreams of the future—but an enemy moving unseen pulls Etraon and his friends into a conflict far bigger than any of them expected. As conspiracies tighten around the throne, Etraon must decide what matters more: the crown he’s destined for… or the people he’s sworn to protect.

A coming-of-age epic filled with friendship, danger, and court intrigue. Perfect for fans of classic high fantasy, loyal friend groups, and young heroes finding their place in the world.

---

The plot is a continuing story, beginning with young Crown Prince Etraon, continuing with the journey of traveling swordsman Gale, and the fate of fallen Emperor Aldrich.
