Chen never met a person who doesn't crave for money.

 

But now he met Lily. Chen said " You're the most stupid girl I've met. "

 

Lily defended her by saying " If owning self respect means you're stupid. Then I've no problem being it."

 

Chen debunked her principle by saying " You cant protect yourself through self respect but you can protect yourself through power."

 

"You won't understand. Not everyone has readymade power in their hand like you. " said Lily

 

Chen grabbed her hands and Lily screamed in pain. He said Don't say things you don't know about. "After seeing Lily in pain he left her hand. Lily understood that his childhood was rough like her. But that doesn't mean he can behave like a jerk.

 

Chen noticed Lily staring at him. He said " Hey, why are you looking at me ? Are you cursing me?"

 

Lily face palmed and said " Stop acting like a child and answer me. "

 

Chen said " Ill allow you to go to college. But you have to follow my commands."

 

Lily mumbled " As if I'm not following him so far."

 

Chen said " You'll study in a different University. You can talk to others for maximum 10 minutes including your phone. My car will drop you and pick you up. Is that clear ?"

 

Lily became angry " Studying in a different University means I'm more dependent on you and 10 minutes including my phone is very less.

 

Chen said " You can spend 10 minutes on phone and 10 minutes with others if you kiss me now. Cheeks will be fine."

 

Lily didn't wanted to kiss him even on the cheeks but to achieve something bigger she had to sacrifice something. Lily went to kiss Chen on the cheeks but he turned around and their lips touched. It happened so fast Lily didn't had the time to react.

 

Chen said playfully " You're cute. " and kissed her cheeks and left the room. Lily started wondering that these types of cute things are done by couples. But Chen and Lily aren't couples.

 

Chen went to his room and his heart was beating very fast. He was blushing just from a simple kiss. He thought to himself What's so special about Lily ?

 

The Next Morning..

 

Lily got up with a enthusiastic mind. She will be following her passion. She went downstairs and was very cheerful. Aunt Anna said that Lily will get a car with a driver and a bodyguard.

 

Lily went out and felt a sense of freedom even with bodyguards behind her. The bodyguard opened the door for her. Lily asked him what his name was ? and got no reply. She even asked the driver. The driver replied in a monotone voice " You're not supposed to talk to us. That's the order of Master.

 

Lily mumbled " He's such a crack head. " When the destination arrived Lily became stunned. It was Beijing University the top University of China. Lily became overwhelmed.

 

The architecture design of the building was mesmerising. She wonder if the fees are sky rocketing. She attended the lectures like a diligent student but everybody was looking at her because she had a bodyguard with her.

 

Lily didn't thought her Uni life would be complicated but when she saw the fiancee of justin in the same class as her. Lily wanted her not to notice her but all the attention was on her.

 

Lily just waited for the class to end. She got out the class and sat at the bench in the garden. She felt calm. She called Nina her bestie. She answered the call and Lily started crying. Nina started rebuking her about disappearing. Lily told her everything about being with Chen.

 

Nina asked about Justin. Lily said " He got engaged. It's over. "

 

Nina cursed justin " That son of a bitch. But Lily if he left you then why did he called me every hour asking for you ?"

 

As Lily was talking the call got cut, when Lily looked at the phone she saw that 10 minutes is up.

 

Lily looked beside her and there was a girl with headphones jamming on a song. The girl removed her headphones and said " Hi, I'm Ariana. I was waiting for you to get off your phone. By the way Justin is a jerk. OopsI didn't meant to eavesdrop. "

 

Lily thought that Ariana is a bubbly girl. Lily introduced herself and asked what song she was listening to. She replied " It's Fake Love by BTS. "Oh the irony Lily was recently encountered with Fake Love. The girl asked Lily about her family. Lily said her family died and her 'cousin' Chen is her guardian."

 

As Lily was speaking with Ariana. A screeching voice said " Now you're following me. " Lily saw that it was Justin's fiancee. Before she could say anything the girl said " Stay away from me and my husband."

 

Lily got up and replied with sass " He is yet to be your husband. And I'm not interested in you or your so called fiancee.

 

The girl started insulting her by saying " You'rea gold digger. If you find someone rich and powerful you hop onto them."

 

Lily didn't crave for money. But It's true that she is with Chen because of money. Everything she is wearing is of Chen. To make the matter more worse Justin arrived. He ignored Lily and said" Let's go Rose. You should ignore such low class people. "

 

Lily said to Justin " If I'm low class then why were you with me for 3 years?"

 

Justin shouted at Lily " Enough Lily I got to know how money hungry you are. Just because my family didn't gave you money you left me. If you wanted money you could have asked me. I would give you the world to you. "

 

Lily knew that Justin's family framed her but she also got to know the trust that justin has on her. What's the point of anything Justin ? It's over now.

 

With this one sentence Lily said Goodbye to her old life and entered a new life.
