My parents showered me with expensive gifts. But my most precious gift got snatched from me. My family wasn't only rich but they also were rich in heart. We were at the peak of the world. One night my father got a call. VWithout making any delay he got ready and left. My mom was very worried for Dad. We got to know that we got bankrupt and most of our properties was seized illegally

 

My family went to my uncles for help. They ignored our plea even though my father always helped them. At that time my family got to know that nobody will be on their side. They cant depend on anyone. But they didn't lose hope. They started everything from scratch.

 

My father was busy in an important estate project. It was so important project that could make a small businessman into a successful businessman. My father got the project. He worked very hard for it. My uncles became jealous of our family.

 

We were back at the rich world. But my Uncles didn't gave up. They partnered with the Chang family the second most powerful family in China and formed a conspiracy to kill my family.

 

The Chang family invited my parents to their home. My parents didn't knew that they were falling in an huge trap.

 

I was just 10 when my parents were killed. I was very coward and scared. I was brought up by my adoptive brother. My father adopted him when he was just an thief. They took care of him and after his death he took care of me.

She asked " What happened with your Uncles and Chang family?"

 

"I killed them. " said coldly by Chen

 

My brother Ruo Xiao made me so capable that I could take revenge for the murder of my parents. I killed every member of Chang family. But their Heir was missing. Later I got to know the Heir died too. I wasn't satisfied.

 

Lily asked with concern " Why ?"

 

"Because I couldn't kill it. I wanted to see the corpse of each of the person who was related to my family's death. "

 

Lily got to see a new side of Chen. He is filled with hatred. Chen and Lily were in his room on his bed. It was late at night. Lily was consoling him like he was that same 10 year old boy that got to know about his parents death. She understood why Chen has some major trust issues because his relativees plotted against his parents.

 

Lily fed him. She was getting close with Chen. She kinda felt bad because she was also betraying him by following Taewoon's words. Lily put him to sleep. It seemed like Lily was taking care of her husband. She didn't felt uncomfortable with him.

 

When Lily was leaving Chen's room. He grabbed her hand and asked softly " Can you stay with me?"

 

Lily declined " I'm sorry. I'm not that comfortable around you to stay with you in your room. "

 

Chen raised his eyebrows " You were comfortable to drink with me at night time. "

 

Lily became annoyed " Are you trying to pick fight with me ?"

 

" No. Stay with me for tonight. I can sleep on the couch " requested Chen

 

Lily felt pity on him. She decided to stay here for one night. Lily asked Chen to get her savings. "I need some money with me in case of emergency. "

 

Chen gave a unlimited credit card to Lily and said" You shouldn't be short of money.

 

Lily refused "I can't take it.

 

" "That's why I call you stupid. "

 

"Just because I refused your money."

 

Chen gave a proposal " I'm not giving money for spending on luxurious delicacies. Don't you want to take revenge on the people that wronged you ?"

 

"I don't want to hurt myself even more by trying to destroy my enemies. I want to forget everything. said Lily.

 

Chen partially knew Lily's struggle. He wanted to teach them a lesson " You can forgive your bitch Aunt. Your disloyal boyfriend and that harry too."

"By destroying them, Uncle Lee won't return. Justin won't be with me. Mia wont treat me like l'm her sister. Harry and Aunt Camille wont treat me like I'm human. Whats the point of it ?

 

Lily bursted into tears from remembering her past. She knows her worth. She isn't courageous enough to take revenge. Chen hugged her and said

 

"At least you'll be happy. They will understand your worth. They'll plead before you for forgiveness. Don't you want that ? "

 

Lily thought about that "Fine if I get happiness from seeing their pain l'll do that. I will take revenge for myself.

 

" Chen is more than happy to help Lily. They drifted towards sleep from consoling each other. By sharing their pain they gained closure.
