Read -Tears of Stars Spying Winds- :: [S-W: 1] The Academy.

" The region of Catsia is filled with vibrant landscapes, cities, metropolis, incredible adventures and most importantly inhabited by creatures known to us as Spirmons: Roaming spirits that breathe and live amongst us all. Scattered around the regions are many institues, we like to call them: "Academies", they serve the purpose of being learning grounds for tamers, young promises that will uncover the mysteries surrounding Spirmons by conducting various researches. But how could such young students solve such big enigmas? well, "young heart, pure heart" is something I like to say. If someone as old as me was to approach one of these creatures, I wouldn't be surprised if they pounced! It is said that the spirimons can see right through us, just as we were able to see right through you! Hence why you, my dearest, have been accepted to everyone's beloved taming academy! Buckle up, the journey ahead is not going to be an easy one, but rest assured it'll be filled with many exciting discoveries and friendships. We wil be awaiting your arrival around the Azure-Flake period, when the Academy will start its first year student Grand Opening Ceremony."

I was holding the envelope with one hand, while brushing my hair behind my ear with the other. I couldnt believe it! Me? accepted into the... Stars academy? That place is only for the elite of the elites! Or at least that's what most people on the internet say, I've never actually been there. In fact, I live in a small small village, to the extreme south of a big big island called:"Catsia". My village, Tutor, is not only the smallest village around here, it is also the only one! Yes yes, I know! it sounds incredibly weird but it's true. Our village is rich in nature but poor in habitants, with the grand population of only 20, and I repeat 20 people, we don't really have that big of a name for ourselves, But worry not, everything is about to change!

I quickly threw the envelope and my big soft blanket on my comfy bed to then rush downstairs, immediately noticing my mother chopping what looks like some delicious herbs she's going to use for dinner.

I glance back and forth, trying to look for my dad, he seems not to be at home currently. I turn my gaze back to my mother, suppressing the biggest smile, attempting to be very serious.

"MOM! I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO TELL YOU!"

I blurted.

"Hey hey! You might want to step on the brakes 'cause at that speed I don't think I can follow what you're saying dear!"

countered mom while looking at me, arching one of her eyebrows.

I quickly looked back at my mother, bursting into the biggest smile ever witnessed.
"I've been accepted into the Stars Academy! Mother, I'm going to be a Tamer! Isn't that awesome?!"

"AUGH, WHAT?!"

My mother bounced at me with what seemed to be a very, VERY worried expression.

"When did you apply for that School?! When were you gonna tell ME you were trying to get into that academy?!"

Uh-oh, Didn't seem like mom was as happy as I thought she'd be... even though I was sure it would be something to celebrate! I finally made a move, I wanted to throw myself out there and I got myself a place amongst la crème de la crème, Yet... she doesn't look thrilled... at all...!

Mom puts her hands on my shoulders, her eyes staring into mine.

"Neu, You know what this means right...? Do you know you'll have to leave the house?"

She said.

"Do you know you'll have to deal with things beyond our comprehension? Do you know that those creatures are something unknown to us?! W-What am I supposed to..."

She stuttered.

"Listen, Neu... Im sorry..."

brushing her loving hand on my cheek, she continued.

"You're my little treasure, you know that...? please, I ask you to think about it, maybe even reconsider it."

I froze.

"I know this is not what you want, and I know that this is the last thing you probably want to hear from me, but I need to ask you to reconsider."

Indeed mother, that was the last thing I wanted to hear leaving your lips. I feel like the world has officially plummeted on me. I quickly ran away from the kitchen, outside of my house, leaving with the full-throated shout of my mother echoing behind me. Where was I running to? it is currently the Verdant-Foliage Period, 4 Periods away from the Azure-Flake period. It will be Cold then, as oppose to know, being abundantly warm. Just 4 more periods and I will leave tutor for good, I will leave... everyone... Lost in my thoughts I ran faster and faster, more and more untill I reached a peculiar spot in the middle of the woods I found myself into. Cotyledon Woods the name, surrounded by the sticky Lymph-trees, a symbol of the region I live in:"Kabell". The problem isn't the sticky trees though, it's actually...

-No... there's no way...-

I thought to myself, nervously itching my right arm. Immediately after that a rustling sound originated from the wide Towering-tree foliage above me. I could see what looked like a shadow, jumping from top-to-top, leaves falling from above as the creature shook the branches with it's sheer strenght, with its mighty power with its... ROUNDNESS?!

-IS THAT WHAT THESE MIGHTY SCARY SPIRITS ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE?! I need to show this to my mother! there's no way she wouldn't let me in the academy! -

The little ball of fluff and feathers stood there after falling from the branches above me, was it injured? It didn't look like it. Funny enough, my mother's words had conditioned my views on these creatures. I started to believe they were going be scary, aggressive, but... this little fella is just standing there doing... nothing...

our staring competion went on for a bit, before it started skipping away. Without even thinking about it my reaction was to follow it and WOW it was a fast little brownish-orange feathery ball!

Why am I following it? where exactly is it bringing me? Is it... trying to comunicate something to me?!
