(Apollo's pov)
“Mum, we've got to tell Anastasia now, it's important!” I look at her with seriousness lacing off my voice.
"What do you mean honey, we've already told her she's a dreamer " she looks at me as if I’m being overly dramatic, clearly wanting to avoid this conversation.
“Mum, you know what I'm really talking about,” I say calming myself down to sound less harsh, “I'm being serious, you can't hide this from her any longer, she might eventually find out, plus it's been too long!” I say exasperated.
“I know but I don't want her to hurt, it's too much plus we've told her so much already I don't want to overload her with new information....” her eyes masking a wall trying not to show a sadness I know all too well.
“You mean you don't wanna tell her too many secrets! Heck Mum I can understand the dreamer one but this, this isn't just an overload of information, it's a big secret and if she finds out from you know who, she's gonna feel betrayed and we don't even know if they know that we haven't told her!” I say, knowing I should have maybe been less overbearing in the way I said everything, “Do you really want that to happen, and let it get in her head, and what happens if she can't trust us anymore, I mean I know it's not a lie but it's a HUGE secret to keep from her!!” I say feeling an overwhelming wave of emotions hit me all at once.
“Sweetie
you're overthinking this, of course I don't want them to tell her, it
will only be worse for all of us but we've gotta find the right timing.”
She says sounding sincere and broken.
“There's never
really a right timing to tell her this type of secret and you know
that.” I look her directly in the eyes to make sure she knows the
seriousness of this entire situation.
“I know, let me just figure some stuff out and I'll tell her, I promise.” She ends by, reassuring me that she will tell her everything.
“Okay” I reply knowing she’ll need some time to figure out things before everyone’s on an emotional roller-coaster.
