I jumped through the window and started to plummet to the ground. As I started nearing the ground I watched as he landed on the balcony of the building across the road. I straightened my body and landed straight up, slightly cracking the ground. I grabbed my grappling hook and shot it to the balcony. I got up there with him and he froze up. "Parker Totem"? "I-I", he stuttered. "You're coming with-". He punched me right in the nose. I didn't expect it at all, how? His looks, the way he pretended to be scared? He jumped off the balcony and disappeared into the Long Beach population. 

    I let go of the railing and sighed. The door opened and someone stepped onto the balcony. "Who are you"? "An idiot". I jumped off the balcony and went back to meet up with everyone else. "Where'd he go"? "I don't know, he tricked me", I said, anger in my voice. "You... Blitz... got tricked", Clover questioned. "I don't know... maybe it was his voice. How scared he seemed... I'm confused myself", I said, scratching my head. "Well we can start looking again when we get to the hotel". "Good, I'm not letting this one go. No one tricks my best friend", Freyaj smiled.

    When we got there I sat down, confused. I was a bit too confused. "Is something wrong", Clover asked. I looked up at him, "Nothing... nothing at all". "You know, we're not always gonna win on the first try. It's okay to take it twice", he told me. "I know, that's not the part I'm upset about". I turned to look him in the eye. "I saw him as harmless... I never see that in opponents. I felt like he couldn't hurt me even if he tried. But he did", I said. "I don't know Blitz... maybe it's because we don't know why we're taking him away". I thought about it, why were we taking him away. I called the professor. 

    "Professor Light... why are we taking away Potassium"? "I was hoping you wouldn't ask. He's always been violent, even before he was a toxin. Parker Totem is a serial killer, he's killed 347 people in the past 2 years alone". My heart sank. Of course I wouldn't mind him simply being a killer, me and my friends were. But those numbers and the fact he does it for pure fun.... it shrunk my soul. Now instead of believing he feared me... I feared him. Was that how he lured his victims? I might be a toxin but I still feel fear. I started to question everything and anything. Professor Light went into great detail about how he killed his victims.

    I hung up on him mid conversation. I slowly turned to Clover, I'm sure that by this time I might have been shaking. "Blitz... Tanya what's wrong"! I sat down on the bed and told Clover everything. At this point he was now also a bit intimidated. "Do you still think you can do this", he asked. "I'm sure I don't have much of a choice", I said. I stood up and got in the shower. After I talked with everyone else and told them what professor Light told me. He wanted to take him as his own toxin, and use him as an assassin. We went to bed and got up at 6am the next day. We were able to track him down and he was at a random house uptown.

    We got there and he was on the parch smoking a cigarette. I guessed it was his house. It was pretty small and dingy. I approached him slowly, I wanted to be on guard. "Hey there Parker". He sighed and put out his cigarette. "Hello Blitz". "You know who I am"? "Everyone like me does... you know that". He truly did seem innocent. Yet I couldn't help but be terrified. "So you know why I'm here". "You're a spy/ assassin... you're here to kill me. It's finally my time", he laughed. I sighed and looked at the ground. "Actually I'm not... here to kill you". He looked me in the eye. "What"? "I'm not gonna kill you. I'm here to recruit you... if you're willing to comply".
