"I'm here to recruit you... if you're willing to comply". "Why"? "Your kill streak is nothing seen before. Plus you do it for fun, the boss wants to make you an assassin". "Really", he said, a grin appearing on his face. He stood up and it kind of made me flinch. "I comply... with my whole heart and soul". He reached his hand out for a handshake. I hesitated, I didn't know what he might do. "C'mon kiddo... I don't bite", he smiled. I grabbed his hand and he shook mine, hard. "I'm sure it'll be a delight to work with you guys", he said, looking around.

    The others came out of the places they were hiding. "How did you know we were here", Marceline asked. "I could smell you... the same people I smelled at the office", he laughed. "Nice to meet you", Freyaj said, punching him in the shoulder. "I'm sure you're a bit aggressive", he rolled his eyes. "And who exactly are you", he said, looking at Marceline. A smile spread across his face. Lorenzo stood in front of him. "My girlfriend... Marceline". "I apologize-". "Lorenzo". "Lorenzo, I apologize. Hello Marceline". 

    "Well welcome to the team Parker. I look forward to working with you", I smiled. Now that he had joined the team I had less to be afraid of. We got back to the original HQ so he could meet the professor. They shook hands and signed an agreement. The agreement said that he couldn't kill or fight any other toxins. The professor was also in control of him and he would only kill who was assigned to. He was put as a partner for Clover until they found him a permanent spot. Clover and I were in the car talking. We had to get different rooms due to rules. "You must have a room with your partner". I could tell something was wrong with Clover.

    "Is something wrong"? "No it's just... do you think working with Parker will really work"? "Yeah, I do. Now that he signed the agreement I feel like I have nothing to worry about". "But if it's so easy for him to-". I cut him off, "I was already terrified of him... don't make it worse". We got to the hotel and parted ways. I was back in a room with Freayj. "Finally, I thought we'd never share a room again". I laughed, "Well, I'm back now". "You've been laid up with your boyfriend for a month now. Just be safe", she said, her tone getting a bit more serious. "You don't have to tell me that, I should be saying it to you". She tried laughing it off. "How's Juan doing"?

    "He's fine. We've been doing pretty well lately". "Great". "Do you ever think about how we got our childhoods stolen from us. We're not even 18 and live like adults", Freyaj said. It was a bit random, meaning it'd been on her mind for some time. "I do think about it... but I ignore it because there's nothing I can do about it". Everything was quiet for the rest of the night. Some weeks went by with me and the others doing missions together. Parker was pretty good and also had great teamwork skills. It was shocking.

    One day we were at the original HQ for an employee of the year meeting. Clover had gotten it last year and broke my streak. I was hoping to get it this time. I was standing on an over-stage bridge along with Parker. At this point we were now pretty good friends. I wasn't afraid of him at all. I just still felt a sense of confusion when it came to him, something wasn't right. "You know what, I really like working with you Blitz", he said, smiling. "Thanks, I like working with you too". "Yeah, you're an amazing worker Tanya". "Sorry I... I only go by Blitz now". He started walking up to me, my palms got sweaty. 

    "Do you think you might be stronger than me? Don't worry about it darling, it's just a question". I let out a nervous laugh and backed away. It got to the point where I couldn't move anymore. "Parker, what are you doing"? "Now that we're alone... I finally get to kill you".
