“Well..” The red head was thinking of something adequate to tell the two guys and settled with telling the truth. “It’s really none of your business now is it?” She said, thinking that she’s satisfied with her totally well thought response and his reaction. “Now if you’ll excuse me I have to go greet my family and go get my uniform. See you in class.” She said somewhat menacing. She walked around the two and got a far distance before sighing. “Oh my god, that was draining. I don’t even know if I'm joining 1-A! Ugh, nice words Shezumei..” after a taxi drive and a few miles walked, she finally made it to the house. “Come on Mei, you can do this.” When she finally got the courage, she rang the doorbell. “Coming!” It was a female voice from what sounded like all the way across the house. “Sorry, my brothers playing soccer- MEI YOUR BACK!” The white headed girl jumped towards her younger sister. “Oh my god, you’ve gotten so big. Come in, come in. I’ll go get Natsu.” Fuyumi sped across the house to The back. You could hear a muffled voice yell “NATSU, MEI’S HERE!” Natsu flew through the house “ZOOOOMIE!” as it turns out Natsu had actually smiled for the first time in years. “I’m not a kid anymore knuckle head!” Mei said hugging her brother, stifling a laugh. “I see you haven’t grown an inch Zoomie” Natsu said with his head in the air, trying his best to be taller than he already is. “Shut up.” Shezumei looked at her brother for a moment. “Where’s Sho?” Natsu snapped back to reality. “Should be home soon, he’s with Enji and some friends for an internship or something. Speaking of, we need to get dinner started, Fuyumi invited them for dinner..” Mei’s eyes widened. How was she going to face her dad in front of company? She knew this was about to be dreadful. “Fuyumi! We’re home-“ Endeavour looked at Mei then looked at Natsu who had lost his smile. “Mei!!” Shoto went around his father and hugged his sister. “Hey Sho, how’s your eye. I saw you in the sports festival, and can I just say.. YOU KICKED ASS, YOU'RE AMAZING!” The red head giggled and saw that they had- “BAKUGOU, REALLY” The girl spotted him through the corner of her eye. “WHY IS THAT FUCKING EXTRA HERE?!” Mei grew furious. “IT'S MY HOUSE BITCH!” A green haired kid stepped in between the two. “Kacchan, please calm down.” Shoto looked at Mei in shock. She was a totally different person, she used to be shy and timid, now she’s more energetic and spirited, although one thing that has never changed was her sass. “Anyways- I’m Mei. You must be that midoriya kid. You’re badass, and your quirk is really cool!” Midoriya looked at Mei, confused on how she remembered all this from the sports festival, as she went rambling on and on about it. “As you can see I’m a todoroki but I’d prefer you’d not go shouting it please. Anywho, it's time for dinner!” Mei said excited to try authentic Japanese food for the first time in years. “Hey wait, where’s brother? He should be here by now.” Everyone looked up at Mei, two in confusion, the rest in sadness. “Mei… he.. died. Shortly after you left.” Meis' eyes widened as tears ran down her face, not being able to comprehend the news. “May I be excused?” Fuyumi softly nodded her head and Mei sprinted to her room. When she reached the door she flung it open and looked at her wall of pictures. The only thing she had to remember her brother by was two Polaroid pictures of four of the children, Touya and Mei posing the same way showing off their quirks. He was wearing a white v-neck tank top with a heart shaped hole on the back. It was a little baggy but it looked good. Mei cried for about an hour hearing every conversation had. Then there was a knock on her bedroom door. “Hey Shezumei, they're gone. Can we talk?” The sobbing girl looked up. “Go away.” The door slowly opened, a tall man stood, he looked regretful. “Look I know you hate me but I’m trying to be a better dad, I’ve been a real asshole and I know you haven’t been here most of your life but I want to make up for the times I did hurt you.” There was a long pause. “Like Natsu said, I’ll never forgive you for what you did EVER, you’re the reason Touyas dead.” The man looked at her, with regret in his face. “I know I am. And I can’t ever take that back, but I want to make sure no one else in this family has the same demise.” The red headed girl looked up. By this point she had no more tears. “I’ll give you a chance for the future.” Enji put his hand on the girls head for a few seconds, and left the room without a word. After winter break had concluded. Mei sat up and put on her new uniform Shoto had dropped off for her. She had bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep, and all the color had been drained from her face. She put her hair in a loose braid, even so it looked somewhat okay, brushed her teeth, then grabbed her belongings to move into her dorm. “Come on Mei. WE’RE OFF FUYUMI AND NATSU” they popped their heads out of their rooms. “Bye Mei, have a good day!” And “BYE ZOOMIEEEE!!” The two yelled. They got to the school and Mei stopped in her tracks, groaning. “I’m hungry, I didn’t eat breakfast, I'm going to get some yogurt from the convenience store.” She was stalling, Shoto could tell “Are you stalling?” Shoto asked. Mei looked at her brother “Whatttttt I’m not stalling, what’s stalling exactly?” Shoto rolled his eyes and grabbed her arm. When they got close to the classroom Mei shook his hand off her arm. “I have to go to the office, remember, I’m not with you.” They split ways and Shoto got to class. “Hey Todoroki! You’re later than usual.” Shoto closed his eyes for a second or two. “Sorry, someone was talking to me.” A blue haired boy stood up. “Everyone sit down, class is beginning!” A medium height man with long black hair walked in. Alright we are getting straight into class, no messing around. First things first we have a new student. She’s going to sit in the new desk we have in the back. Come in and do whatever. The red head opened the door, and stood there for a few seconds before walking in. “Hey, I'm Mei. I moved here from America, and came to Japan to be a hero. Um, I’ll take my seat now.” Mei went through the line, looking at each individual person, and sat down in the back where her seat was. Everyone kept glancing at her, only because she was new, she couldn’t say she enjoyed the watchful eyes, 5 minutes in and she already wanted to go home. “Alright, today we are going to warm up your quirks and see what Ms. Mei can do.” There were quiet cheers in the class.

-When they got to the P.E. Grounds.-

“Alright, who wants to go against Mei..” Aizawa paused, looked around, and settled on someone “Let’s go with Iida.” The blue haired boy stood up and walked to the center with Mei, she could feel the breakfast bar she had before going to the field coming up. “And go.” The teacher announced. Iida got ready to run and Mei had already disappeared from view. Dust was rising and Iida couldn’t see anything. Finally Mei was in his field of vision, he lunged for her but his engines weren’t working. She had taken what seems like dirt and put it in his engines knowing they’d malfunction. But the problem was there was no dirt missing besides the small particles she had kicked up. “I heard you had a good nurse, tell her Mei says hi!” Mei had won the fight without using her quirk, or did she? ‘She took ice and covered it in the flying dirt to make it look as if she’d never used a quirk, and just took dirt and clogged his engines.’ Shoto thought. He knew in America she learned different skills but never truly got to see her in action til that day, and she’d shocked him alright. “Alright shows over. Go train your quirks or whatever, I’m going to sleep.” Everyone started training,and Mei was watching Mr Aizawa get into a yellow sleeping bag. “Um- does he always do that Sho?” Shoto turned and saw his confused sister pointing to Aizawa. “Yeah. he doesn’t sleep at night and we have iida if we get out of control.” Mei turned around, realizing something. “I sent him to the nurses-“ Shoto looked at his arm like he had a watch on. “Three, two, one.” The doors fling open. Iida is back. “Don’t worry, I’m back!” Mei just turned around awkwardly. “Um Excuse me-“
