I was supposed to do a few laps over the clearing and then, as soon as I saw the second flash, fly through the lattice roof over to the lattice gate and do a few laps around it. I practiced Anilec's part so that I also had something to do and if Anilec got something in between. Alice, Flavia and Foxy played guards as they had a hard time practicing their part of the attack here. I knocked them out several times and made it to the lattice gate again and again. With the others, everything seemed to work smoothly as well. A few simply had to improve their fighting techniques. We practiced all day long and in the evening after the hunt and after dinner we practiced again for about half an hour before we went to sleep exhausted. The next morning, Scholar finally arrived. He showed us many different fighting techniques and helped us with the exercises. So it went on for the next four days. On the fifth day we practiced Alice's, Flavia's, Foxy's, Hurricanes, Fluffs, Loyolas, Scholars and Nepomuk's part. In the afternoon we helped Scholar collect herbs, as he still wanted to make ointments in case some of the prisoners were injured. The next day the attack was supposed to take place, so everyone went to bed a little earlier today. Me and Anilec prepared some sandwiches for breakfast for tomorrow and then went to bed. That night I had no dreams, but I couldn't close my eyes because of the next day. When the tiredness finally won, I fell asleep restlessly. The next morning everyone got up quite early. Everyone was excited and could hardly eat anything. I was standing next to the kitchen table with Nicola and Flavia chewing on my sandwich when Flavia asked me, "Do you think we're ready yet? Do you think maybe we can do that and save Arika and all the other prisoners of Prince Araña?" Nicola looked at me curiously and I replied, "No." They looked shocked and I went on to say, "No, I don't think we're ready, I know! No, I don't think we might be able to save Arika and the other Cambiaformas, I know we'll be able to do that!" They looked a little relieved and less nervous and to avoid further questions, I went to eat the rest of my sandwich outside on the rock next to the waterfall. Anilec sat on the other side of the waterfall with Jack and talked to him quietly. When everyone had finished eating, we all came together in the clearing and discussed the plan one last time.
