LIT
A loud bell is tinged, ending the current match in the Risky Dome arena. People in the crowd were screaming with excitement, while others booed in contrast, obviously the losing group.
Mika was urged through the entrance of the ring. The door slammed shut behind her. She heard everyone surrounding the arena screaming and cat-calling at her whole.
“This is different from being out in the stands with everyone else.”
She locked eyes with Trixa, standing on the opposite side of the area, stretching and talking to her manager, as she side-eyed Mika from afar….
“The crowd has a lot of money on you, Trixa. I’m sure you won’t disappoint your loyal fans, but is it necessary to go against someone you know you can beat? This doesn’t seem like a fair fight, to begin with….” Trixa's manager claimed with great concern for Mika’s well-being.
“This match is not about winning. This one is personal. I don’t like cowards who back out on an agreement, regardless of the circumstance!”
“That's between you and your conscience, although I’m sure this young lady never asked for this kind of a mess.”
As he flicked his cigarette, the manager looked over in Mika’s direction with a defeated look.
“Good luck, little princess. Your gonna need it.”
The manager stepped away from the ring, locking the cage behind him, and stood close to watch the fight.
THE MATCH WILL START IN 2 MINUTES, EVERYONE! GET YOURSELVES READY FOR EITHER A GREAT FIGHT OR A MASSACRE. SO GRAB YOUR DRINKS AND SNACKS, AND STAY TUNED!
Mika sat down, hugging her legs in fear, watching Trixa stretch and pump herself up for the coming fight.
“What am I going to do? I don’t know how to fight! I’m going to die in this cage. Someone….anyone…help me….”
Mika placed her head in her arms, facing down between her legs. She started to cry as the pressure began to sink in.
~ CALL FOR HIM ~
Mika raised her head up and looked around in panic.
“Huh? Who said that? Am I slowly losing my mind again to stress? Wait, no….it sounded familiar….”
Mika took a moment to search through her memory to find the answers.
“Oh! Wait! Could it be? It sounded like that butterfly from my dream!”
TING! TING! TING!
ALRIGHT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THAT SOUND OF THE BELL MEAN IT’S TIME TO GET THIS FIGHT UNDERWAY!
FIRST, IN THE RED CORNER, IS OUR RETURNING AND UNDEFEATED CHAMPION, TRIXA, THA TERRIBLE! SHE HAS A WEIGHT I’M NOT ALLOWED TO DISCLOSE IF I STILL WANT TO MAKE IT HOME FOR DINNER WITH MY FAMILY TONIGHT!
AND IN THE BLUE CORNER IS A NEWCOMER WHOSE NAME WE DO NOT KNOW, BUT IT PROBABLY WON’T MATTER BECAUSE THIS MIGHT BE HER FIRST AND LAST MATCH TO EVER! GOOD LUCK TO YOU, PRINCESS! NOW, LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!
“Wait! How am I supposed to survive this massacre!” Mika screamed to the announcer.
While distracted, Mika felt a vibration in her feet.
“Uh Oh…”
She whipped her head around and spotted a raging Trixa charging her way at full speed.
“Waaahhhh!!”
Mika quickly jumped out of the way. Trixa crashed into the cage, creating a dent in the iron.
“What is your deal, girl?! Why are you so aggressive!”
Trixa peeled herself from the bars and glared at Mika.
“I just play by my own rules! Stay still so I can crush you and keep my winning streak!”
“Yeah, right, like I’m going to stay still long enough for you—“
Mika got interrupted by another charge from Trixa. She managed to nip Mika in the arm. Mika slammed into the cage, causing her last earring to roll out of the ring.
“Oh-No! Nieko will be so disappointed in me!”
Mika sat up, hurting and exhausted from running all over the arena to avoid immediate death.
“Awwww, is the little princess all tucked out? I can’t believe it only took a little nip to get you to fall to the ground. You must be really weak; too bad that won’t make me go easier on you! I’ll get warmed up for my final rampage while you pray for your life to the spirits.”
Trixa proceeded to stretch and grab some refreshments.
“Finally, some time to breathe, but how am I going to get out of this?
Mika’s panting her chest out, trying to catch her breath, and thinking simultaneously.
“How am I supposed to call him?” Mika thought for a moment. A flashback appeared of the shadow guy's lips speaking those words.
“Akima, that was the name he kept saying!”
Trixa readied herself for what seemed like an attack that Mika won’t be able to dodge in time.
“I need to summon him before I get squashed!”
Mika started to panic as she watched the tremendous giant stare at her. She clenched the cage screaming, pleading to the crowd with desperation.
“Help me, she’s going to kill me! Help me please!”
The crowd continued cheering instead of helping Mika.
“How can these people be so cruel? They’re watching this all go down like we’re animals or something!”
Mika looked deep within the chaos hoping for some remnants of hope and understanding. She was alone, and no one was willing to help her...
Mika fell to the ground with the cage still clenched in her fists. Trixa rushed at full speed towards Mika.
She screamed at the top of her lungs as the crowd cheering grew louder and louder for Trixa’s success.
AKIMA! AKIMA! PLEASE HELP ME AKIMA!!
