Every attack the stranger made was copied and countered by Michael in an incredible display for a newborn vampire. It was like a coordinated dance with Felix just left watching and made to wait for an opening per their plan known as Link’s faith. The man started to get annoyed that he couldn’t land a single hit with how he was being mimicked. He resorted to throwing Alexander back inside so that he could use his blood to get the advantage over Michael.

Alexander groaned while getting to his feet and watched the duel between the stranger and Michael. The two appeared so evenly matched that it was almost hard to tell who could come out on top, they were not moving fast but every blow that connected sent a sound wave rippling through the classroom. At this rate they would be locked in this deadlock until the police showed up and then they’d all be in screwed. He had to do something in order to turn the battle in their favor but what could he do?

A thought flashed in his mind and he recalled from earlier that he was able to get the stranger to pause by firing his blood. Maybe he could do it again that could help but he had to get his hand to stop trembling so that he could aim. Alexander held out his right arm and tried to stabilize it with his left while aiming at the man’s feet. His blood flower bloomed and started to form a single blood dart. Felix noticed Alexander’s stance and quietly gasped.

Alexander fired his dart and then fell to his knees to catch himself, once the dart impacted the man’s leg it caused him to lag and gave Michael his opening. Michael swept the man’s legs, sending him falling to the ground, and grabbed both the man’s arms and brought them behind his back. Felix took his chance and drove his halberds through both the man’s feet to pin him into place. Michael summoned two blood sabers and intersected them at the man’s neck in the shape of an X.

“Obey my Kin control and kill him Michael.” Felix said.

“You don’t need to use Kin control skill to influence me, I will kill him gladly.” Michael said and decapitated the man, “Rest in hell, bastard.”

“You need to get out of here.” Alexander said while staggering towards the two.

“He bit you didn’t he, I...no we saw you use blood manipulation.” Felix said remorseful, “I am so sorry Alexander.”

Alexander nodded and was about to collapse before being caught by Michael.

“You did good for a first timer.” Michael mused and started to collapse himself but both were quickly caught my Felix.

“You did good too but you pushed yourself too much, you know newborns are exhausted easily.” Felix said and carried the two towards the door, “Sounds like the authorities are here, let’s hide inside a classroom to fool them.”
