I gave him three glasses, took one, and continued to drink my beer. 

"So soccer season is coming up" he stated.

"Yeah, I know. But I backed out" I said with a shrug.

"But bro,  you are like the best defender that the team has!" he said as he downed his second glass.

"Dude slow down! The night isn't going anywhere!" I beckoned but he ignored me and downed his third drink mind you, these aren't shots, they are full glasses.

"Oh come on, these aren't even that strong" He slurred. I shook my head. I was still on my beer. 

"That's because you are drinking them too fast to feel the effect! Dude, those are like 88% alcohol. No more drinking, we should just go" I commanded. Just as I stood up, Shen grabbed my glass of vodka and downed it before I could open my mouth again. I sighed and held the bridge of my nose in annoyance. When I suggested drinking, this is not what I had in mind.

He tried to step forward but almost fell back unto the table. "I can't see my feet. That's weird" He said as he began laughing. I guess something is kicking in now, I thought to myself. Damn, it's my fault for ordering so many glasses...and they were all full too, I thought once again. I held onto his arm and lead him to the exit. 

As we were about to leave a guy bumped into us. "Hey lady! Watch where you are going!" Shen yelled.

"Who you calling a lady you bastard!" The guy yelled back. Shen looked at me confused and started to laugh.

"J, it's not a lady?" He asked. I couldn't help but chuckle. 

"What you laughing bout, wanna fight, is that it?" He said while taking off his jacket. I can't fight right now. I have to take this drunk home.

"N-" I started to say but was cut off.

"Sorry sweetie but weeeee don't hit women" Shen retorted. I was shook. The guy's face was turning beet red. He was fuming! I need to find a way to get out of this. My car wasn't far, but with Shen being all wasted it would take forever. The guy was coming closer. Think J, THINK DAMN IT!

Right at that exact moment, Shen pushed me away and you know what the little bastard did? He walked away...towards the car! I halted. The guy also froze as he watched the drunk walking away. He was right at the door pulling at it. I quickly pressed open and he went in. 

"Well, I guess it's just me and you now boy," The guy said as I turned to face him. I pretended like I was about to punch him and to my surprise, he winced while turning his face and blocking. Tf? I just pushed him down and booked it to the car. I didn't look back, I jumped in and drove off at high speed. I looked over to see Shen just laughing and licking the window. If you saw him you would think he was on drugs or something. 

I tried to drive a bit slower once I was far enough from the bar and on a different road. It was now quiet, finally! Wait, something isn't right. I took my eyes off the road for a second to see Shen kneeling on the car seat with his jeans down. Oh hell no! 

"What are you doing, get down! Now!" I yelled in anger, almost swerving into an oncoming car.

"But I need to pee" he squealed. When did that window even go down in the first place? Uhh!! I should just roll it up onto his dick!

"No Shen! Stop! It's gonna go with the wind and go all over my baby!" I was saying but he wasn't listening. He had started to pee already. I would have stopped a long time ago but there was nowhere that I could pull over and now my baby is gonna smell like pee. I actually want to cry right now. 

He pulled up his jeans and sat back down. I was just speechless at this point. I rolled up the window. I need to bring him home, I wasn't built to handle this. He has never gotten drunk before and I should know because I am always with him. 

I eventually got to a road full of light, where I could pull over, so that is what I did. Who knows what's gonna come next? Cause I would literally die if he should throw up in my baby. We stopped and I let out a sigh, I didn't even notice I was holding my breath. 

"I don't feel so well," Shen said while holding his belly. I immediately leaned over and opened his door and without thinking, I pushed him out, and right as he fell he began vomiting. I freaking called it! I know that was not a best friend thing to do but I don't wanna be driving around with the stench of vomit. I got out of the car and ran to his door. He finished up and I kneeled beside him, rubbing his back. All that he let out was liquid, did this kid even eat today? 

"Dear, dear!" I said trying to hold back a laugh. I felt as though I was petting a dog. But not even a dog can be this stubborn. I opened the back seat and grabbed a bottle of water. Look at me being all efficient. I handed him the bottle so he could rinse the vomit out of his mouth. Afterward, he looked up at me and I am so happy his clothes were vomit-free.  

"How are you feeling sunshine?" I teased.

"A lot better," he said as he rolled his eyes. It's not my fault that you don't listen I thought.

"Hungry?" I asked, already knowing the answer. He nodded yes. I helped him up and we both got into the car. I drove us to every fast food place I knew along the way home but they were all closed. Who closes at midnight!! I looked over at Shen and he had already fallen asleep. I would say he looked adorable but he peed on my freaking car! Drunk asshole!

I drove him home. I stepped out of the car and went to open the door on his side. I saw two big orbs staring up at me, I shook my head and then I helped him to get out. "Where's the food?" he asked with a puzzled look on his face. Are you kidding me right now?

"Don't worry I will make you something when we get inside," I responded. We walked into the house and I saw lights on in the kitchen so I put Shen on the sofa and went in. I arrived only to see Shen's dad sitting on the countertop devouring a couple of sandwiches. There is something seriously wrong with this family. I cleared my throat. 

"Umm, Mr. Park?" I questioned. He looked up and jumped simultaneously. He was looking like a chipmunk. I don't know how he did it but he swallowed all that food that was in his cheeks. 

"Oh, hey Joyner. Watchya doing in here? I don't think Shen is home yet." Mr. Park said. I shook my head so I could stop staring and come out of my thoughts. 

"Oh...yeah...about that. I am actually about to make a few sandwiches for him, we just came back." I told him. I eyed the plate next to him. "What kind are those?" I said as I nodded toward them. He looked at them and then at me, all in shock. 

"PB&J" he answered reluctantly. Great! Shen loves those and no effort on my part. I quickly walked over to the plate, there were three whole sandwiches left. How many did he make? 

"Can I have two of these?" I asked while taking them out of his plate and putting them on another.

"Su...re" he managed to let out, and quite sadly I may add. I went to the fridge and poured some whole milk in a cup. 

"Thanks," I said with a smile and then walked back to Shen. His eyes were closed so I thought he was sleeping but then he reached out and grabbed the plate out of my hand. I shook my head and placed the milk in front of him. He started to eat. 

"Mhmm!!" He moaned closing his eyes. "This is so good". His dad left the kitchen and was on his way to the stairs.

"G'night boys, don't stay up too late," he said.

"We won't", I responded. Then Shen looked up at me. 

"Was this made with love?" He asked. The hell kinda question is that? 

"It definitely was," I said with a smile. I am sure his dad made those with a ton of love although he was sad to give them up. 

"Good, my heart needs some," he said as he turned to look at me with glossy eyes. He smiled and I felt myself swoon. I can't believe he is holding in so much pain and masking it all with such a beautiful smile. At that moment I just wanted to mend his heart, hold him, and protect him so he could never hurt again.  

Unconsciously I started to hug him, I pulled away and he looked at me with the softest expression. My mind was melting, I was feeling like I was the drunk one. I got so lost in thought that I forgot where I was. My lips were crushing into something so soft, yet they were on fire. My heart started to race as I came to the conclusion...I WAS KISSING SHEN!

I quickly broke the kiss by jumping off the sofa. Shen looked up at me in confusion while touching his lips.

"I am so sorry Shen, I gotta go" I bolted out the door before I could hear his response. I really hope he doesn't remember any of this in the morning.
