Magic can't be define with just one single word, rather, it can be defined with thousands, no, millions of words. Learning magic isn't the easiest thing one could do, it's not like you're learning the english alphabet once more. Rather, it's like learning a whole language and physical theories that wouldn't make much sense. Though, this only applies to the people who were already residence of this world. But I'm different, in my past world, we had already learnt about these kinds of stuff as a young child, so trying to understand magic was easy for me.

 The book 'Magic Theories and their Uses' was such a good foundation and help for me to start learning magic, so I have Marco to thank for that. Each topic of said book had different varieties of information provided about magic, for example; It explained how magic have different uses for daily routines, such as showering, cooking and even cleaning a house. Besides that, it also mentioned that it can be used for fighting and battles, and such, spells such as 'Enhance Armament' exists, which helps in increasing your body's strength and durability, it can also be applied to armors and weapons.

The book also contains plenty of guidance on how to use these said magic power. The more you flip through the book, the more you gain knowledge. I was learning them at a steady pace without making my brain tired.

So, there I was at the library, flipping through the pages of said book.

"Magic consists of many types and elements, though, most are known to be of natural elements such as; FIRE, WATER, EARTH, WIND and LIGHTNING. These are what you call 'The 5 Pillar of the Origins', mainly because these are the most common types of magic, and which other types of magic were derived from."

"There are also other types of magic which are not as known nor famous, either because they can only be learnt and passed down from a generation of families or only certain people possess the characteristics to learn them. These types of magic are called 'Pseudo Magic', and not everyone can gain or learn them. Some are special and some are only available to Noble and Great families of the Kingdom."

"Other than the said 'Pseudo Magic', legendary variables of magic that can only be possessed by one person through certain conditions also exist; An example that can be taken is from the Elysium's Magic Tower's Headmaster, 'Aldur the Wiseman', who possesses the magic 'All Time'. Which is essentially time manipulation. These variables are already gifted to the person ever since birth and can only be possessed by one singular person at a time."

"Magic profiency or magic level is also classified into different categories, these categories are used to identify the profiency or level of a person, these categories are also labelled using circles, which refers to the amount of circles one has within their hearts, the more circle they have, the better. it goes as follows;"

1-3 Circles = Novice Realm

4-6 Circles = Noble Realm

7-10 Circles = Magic Expert Realm

11-12 Circles = Magic Maestro Realm

13 Circles = Grandmaestro Realm

"Each circles have their own requirements to reach, with the higher levelled circles being the hardest to achieve. There is only 5 known people throughout history who have reached 13 Circles. Anyone who reaches the 13th Circle is instantly considered a legend once they achieve it."

"Magic is known as a source of energy, but it is not used by itself, rather, the only way to use magic is through an environmental force called 'Mana', these mana can be gained from the surrounding environment as each form of life consists energy, these includes trees, animals and even monsters. However, one cannot just gain mana infinitely, each person will have a limit to which they can consume. Hence, why most people can't use magic forever nor are they able to reach higher circles easily. One must have sufficient mana in order progress through the circles as well as use magic in itself."

"Magic Users are classified into different classes; They are either identified as 'Inner Manipulators' or 'Magic Casters'. The Inner Manipulators are the ones who use magic to enhance themselves, be it strength, endurance or durability. Inner Manipulators usually tend to become Knights or warriors, their strength is many times stronger than normal people who don't possess or use magic. They are able to easily destroy mountain ranges and sever the high skies with just a slash of their magic-infused blades. These people mostly enroll to Elysium's Battle Academy."

"Magic Casters on the other hand are different. They aren't able to use magic on themselves and are only able to cast magic for other people to act as a support or to cast their own devastating spells which could be used for fighting. Each magic spells have their own tiers, with the higher tiers being stronger. Many people tend to underestimate Magic Casters due to their weak physique and body, however, what they don't know is that these Magic Casters are a bigger threat than those that can manipulate magic for themselves; The reason being is that they are able to destroy nations with just a flick of a finger if they so wish to once they reach higher levels of profiency. Magic Casters usually tend to be Mages and typically enroll in Elysium's Magic Academy."

"Do note that, a single person can only possess 2 elements at a singular time with 3 being an exceptional talent which are usually considered as Prodigies. Out of those two elements, one has to be a natural element and the second has to be either a 'Pseudo Magic' or a Magic Variable."

"...." The room would now be silent as I stared down towards the book which I thought was endless.

"....That..THAT WAS IT?! HOW COULD A BOOK JUST END OFF LIKE THAT?!" With such a disappointing end, I would now be shouting my tongue out.

The book didn't even bother teaching me how to use magic like what Marco said, instead, it just told me informations regarding magic without even teaching me any spells or of the sort, heck, I don't even know if I even possess magic myself. Like, how do you expect me to learn magic if I don't even know how to feel the presence of mana?

I was in utter disappointment after having read the book for hours and days on end. How can one just end a book off like that if you're not even going to teach me magic theories like how the book title suggested. Was my magic career going to end even before I began? Other than that, who in this world is even willing to teach me magic? Maybe father can? Or maybe even mother? Should I try asking?

Again, my mind was filled with useless thoughts and hesitant choices. I should be more confident in what I do considering I became a Prince now. Maybe I'll try asking my parents to teach me magic and ask Marco for more book recommendations.

Well, it seems like I have a long day tommorow.
