[Belle]
The dark king sat calmy on his throne of fire and bones, his golden eyes glowing with power. A shadowed black circlet sits lazily on his dark strands, his handsome face cold, emotionless, like he hasn't a care in the world. Massive black and red wings spread around him showing his dominance, and...
"Wake the fuck up!"
Someone bangs against the glass wall of my cell. I jolt awake in shire panic banging my head against the glass in the process. Wincing in pain, I blink clearing my vision from the sleepiness to see Leon standing there with an annoyed expression across his face. When he sees I'm awake, he moves on to do whatever he was doing before waking me. Asshole. I gave him the finger, but he was already long gone.
I sit up carefully, still feeling a little dizzy from hitting my head.
After the envy and pride demon left, I must've fallen asleep. Something I need more than anything right now. But I wasn't going to risk getting punished for sleep on the job. Its already bad enough my rations where cut. I didn't need anything thing else to be add to it.
Looking around I see its still busy with demon's coming in and out of the store.
An hour pass by and guess who decides to make an appearance again...
Leon, and he has a dark smirk plastered across his face.
He types something on the keypad that keeps the prison locked, then the glass door slides open upward. I stand slowly holding my ground in the corner hoping that the low demon hasn't gotten any funny ideas. He approaches me slowly like a wrangler trying to catch a tiger. He grabs the chains that are bounded on my ankles, dragging me out, until I'm standing on the floor. Within in those few minutes he snaps more chains on my wrist, and leads, well more like drags me away from glass cage.
It surprises me how calm I am in this situation, normally someone in my position would be kicking and screaming bloody murder. It felt almost right in a way. Like I was supposed to let this happen. Even if I was going to die, but even that didn't feel right.
No
I wasn't going to die today.
Something else was happening, and deep down in my soul, I know it was right.

Dastran and I arrived at his uncle's shop forty minutes ago. We've been through at least six pets that was there the night of the murder, and none of their aura's scream Divine. Sighing I run my hands through my hair. Dastran just as bored as I am begins, to tap his finger annoyingly on the table.
"Can you not?" I cringe, glaring at him.
"Can I not what?" The orange eyed demon smirks. One of these days I feel like his face will be permanently stuck in that position. I know he's doing it get a rise out of me, but I refuse to let the wrath part of me out in public.
I shake my head. He wasn't going to rile me up today. " You know what never mind." I say with a forced smile.
Thankfully there's a knock on the door, and my attention was depraved from the irksome greed demon.
Akillies walks in with his Hench demon in tow followed by a female pet in chains.
She has dark bouncy unkept coils, brown skin, and the prettiest grayish-green eyes. It was like time had slowed and everyone else in the room didn't matter anymore. Her scent engulfed, lavender and peppermint. The inhumane scent that I couldn't place at the convention. She was the one.
The Divine.
I was sure of it. But some part of me couldn't bring myself to even think of killing her. A mantra deep in my soul keeps repeating the same words in my head.
Protect...
Guide...
Watch...
Responsibility...
Guard...
Guard?... Why Guard?
Then it hit me...
She... The Divine that stood between me and the table... is my protected...
I am her guardian.
Shit, this isn't good.
