Chapter 5

Viktor POV

You are watching the two men from a distance. You can't make out all of their conversation, but you can hear them. It's quiet easy to hear them. They are whispering to each other

"The drug should take effect in an hour" "I have been playing with these synthetic bloodsuckers for years, I know what I'm doing" 

"What if it doesn't work?" "Then we try again, but I have no doubt that the drug will work"

"I heard that you are the best hunter in the world" "And I am the best vampire in the world"

You are interested in what they are saying. But you don't move your body at all, your body is completely still, like a statue. You are simply absorbing everything happening around you.

Renix POV

Renix is tied to a chair in a large room. The walls are painted in bright colors, and the room is decorated with little toys and stuffed animals. A small child's bed is in one corner.

A man is sitting on a chair by a little table, he is looking at Renix and laughing to himself. He has a strange look on his face.

The man is a vampire. A scientist opens the door with a red-colored needle and tells the seated vampire to hold Renix while he applies the needle to Renix's neck.

"No" says the vampire, "I won't allow that"

"It's either this or he dies" says the scientist "You choose"

"I will kill him" says the vampire. Pedroz appears behind the vampire

Pedroz: You better do what the scientist says or I'll rip your heart out

The vampire to be afraid is to accept to hold Renix as the scientist pushes the needle into his neck.

Renix doesn't even know what's happening.
