Xy grabbed his head as it started pulsing pain through his body again, falling onto his knees, flashes of vague images flew through his mind, silhouettes of certain beings…

“W- what is this…” 

“You still don’t want to learn the truth?” Vadea asked.

“The truth…” 

Xy opened his eyes and started hearing voices.

Bring him.

Save him.

Protect him…

“What is the truth...” He said with a shocked expression on his face.

“To be able to recognize your true self fully, you would have to meet Ilnir himself. I myself cannot do much in this regard, sadly. But regardless, this is the necessary starting point we will have to take to be able to get until that point.” 

Xy lifted his head upwards.

“I don’t understand nor can I explain this feeling, but whatever I might learn, the family I grew up with is my family. I can not nor will I look at them differently in any way.”

“Of course, my Lord.”

Ilnir snapped his fingers, and he teleported both himself and Vadea into an extraordinary area, a gigantic dimensional slash was seen in the middle of it. They stood before a way that could lead the residents of the World of Dawn to Gaius that was other than the Bridge.

“You are now one of the very few that have seen the dimensional slash.”

“My Lord, what is this place?”

Ilnir walked in front of Vadea nearing the dimensional slash.

“I cannot let my child pass through the Bridge, it would bring him danger… He cannot stay in this world for now. I decided to create an alternative way to bring him to safety.

He shall grow up with the Silphars he will consider his true family, and you shall be his sword, this is why I have called upon you, Vadea.”

“Are you giving me up, my Lord…? What about the war? You are one of the strongest Gods the World of Dawn consists of, Numen needs you!”

Ilnir looked at Vadea with a cold expression on his face.

“You were just enough for me to battle without having to de-compress my true powers.”

“What…? The millions of Zipholets you single-handedly killed…”

“I believe that Ziphot is seriously wanting to conquer both worlds. However, someone else is going to carry out his will. And he will let Ziphot manifest into himself. The one that was betrayed by the Silphanic people…”

“That occurrence will not be enough even for me. As well as for Numen alone. I had to do something…”

“I want you to bring him back to me through the bloodshed he will be going through alongside you, and you will become his Hysteria.”

“What about Qelena?” Vadea asked.

“Go and talk to her yourself. You must discourse with both her and her Hysteria, as she has also given up her Hysteria.”

Ilnir turned around and a shockwave blasted through Vadea’s body, making her fall onto her knees.

“I can’t grow strong enough by ordinary training?” Xy asked.

“I am afraid you can’t. You will face extremely strong enemies on your adventure.”

She got closer to Xy, sat on her left knee, and reached out her hand.

“You can trust me. Just take my hand, and accept my powers that belong to you.” 

Xy hesitated before he eventually held her right hand she reached out to him.

His hand touched hers, and a shockwave gushed through Xy’s body as Vadea merged her essence with Xy’s body. All he could do is leave out a loud scream as the pain was the only thing he felt.

[Zao’s POV]

“You okay, Zao? You just twitched so violently” Uldok asked.

“I just felt a very uncanny feeling…”

“Alright, well, we’ve arrived anyways.” 

Zao knocked on the door of Ryushi’s house, and Suda stood at the front door.

Her expression went cold after seeing Zao’s face, but she seemed surprised that Shira and Uldok were accompanying him.

“It’s you again…”
