Hola. According to my watch (we only have one device on at once and it’s my watch rn, the bad thing about the modern age is that no-one has analog watches if they have a watch at all) it is currently 1:10 am. I am on watch duty right now which is going to really be the only time I’ll have time to write because the rest of the time I'll either be sleeping or busy doing other stuff like hunting or cooking. I’m happy I liked cooking back in the normal world because otherwise I’d never be able to survive out here. Our shelter is okay, it’s cosy and I'm kinda grateful ‘Keton’ refused to sleep in there because it would be kinda squishy. He is somewhere just over a hill and I’m not One hundred percent convinced he’s not going to just leave. I’m writing by the light of a torch that Amya made for whoever was on watch to do stuff. It’s annoying, her powers work on harry potter rules, she can make anything but food. Again, my fault but how was I to know I would someday meet her in a life-threatening situation where she is the only one with powers that is actually helping. KETON. No one has seen anything on their watches and before we went to bed we decided that we would try and find the road again because that is the only logical decision, we find the road the driver swerved from, we follow that to the actual road the bus was meant to be on, we either find the village or we go back to our house. Simple.
I still think something has happened to Sally because she isn’t the kind of person to not pick up in a situation like this, an emergency, but Ebony says that Alodos wouldn’t let anyone hurt her so I’m just going to trust her for now because she’s know Sally and Alodos for years I’ve only known them a couple of days. I keep forgetting I’ve only been here for just under a week, though today’s barely started. Because everyone’s made me feel so welcome and like it’s so normal, It’d be a shame if I died. But that’s sad so we’re not going to go there. It would have been so much easier if this had happened coming back from the shops because we would’ve had actual food and not have to hunt geese and such to eat. It tasted good, I'm not going to lie, but SO MUCH WORK for one meal.. I’m kinda hungry and kinda tired, why do they never mention this in adventure stories? The first night when people are still getting used to living in the woods, like there has to be an adjustment period to such a dramatic change. Right? Maybe i’m just trying to justify my own reaction but like, Ebony’s probably gonna have to change her hairstyle right? You can’t do four braids every day without a mirror, right? Anyway my turn of watch is done so I’m gonna wake up Alexis and then go to sleep.
Adios, Mars
