Shībài zhě walked through the streets of Beijing, looking over his shoulders every second.

“Can you stop being jumpy for a single second?” David said, annoyed by Shībài zhě’s actions.

“I can’t.” Shībài zhě answered as he turned the corner and kept looking around. “They are coming back today.”

“You know you have to go back to work at some point,” David said. “You can’t keep avoiding them forever, and I haven’t met them yet.”

“Good.” Shībài zhě said. “Since you can only be seen near me, means that I have to be nearby every time that they talk with you. They’re annoying already as is.”

The last three members of the Le Zhao job center were finally back in town after their hectic time because of their popularity which led to them being busy with jobs every day and were now finally coming back home. Now that they were finally back, Shībài zhě tried his best to not go back to the job center to avoid them.

“C’mon it can’t be that bad?” David said. He was really looking forward to meeting with these people but because of Shībài zhě, he couldn’t.

Before Shībài zhě could say no, a person went flying in front of them out of an alley. They peeked into the alley to see what was going on. There were three people, one girl, and two boys. They were surrounded by people in suits, and they were holding weapons. David was about to move in to help those three but Shībài zhě grabbed him and dragged him back. David was about to question him, but the girl saw them and shouted out, “Mr. zhě!”.

Everyone in the alley turned towards them. The girl dashed through the people so fast that no one could even see her. She jumped at Shībài zhě and hugged him tightly.

“It really is you!” She said with complete excitement on her face. “I missed you Mr. zhě.”

“Kid I don’t think now’s the time for this reunion.” Shībài zhě said.

One of the people with a pipe had rushed behind the girl and was about to hit her with it, but as if she already knew, she kicked him in the stomach. Shībài zhě finished him off with a punch in the face which was so fierce it sent him flying.

“Yup, that’s Shībài zhě alright.” One of the girl’s friends said.

The fight continued as if it hadn’t been interrupted, this time with Shībài zhě joining in. While everyone was fighting, David leaned against a wall and watched the fight from aback as he saw the different moves that they were all using. While he was watching, the girl came beside David without him even noticing.

“I thought you would go through the wall.” She said to David. “Given how you’re basically like a ghost.”

“It doesn’t work like that,” David said as he looked at her. She was almost as tall as David and even seemed the same age. She had long red dyed hair with a relatively small face and small features. She was wearing a suit which seemed unusual. “You have to think about it to walk through a wall. It doesn’t happen automatically.”

“Really?” She said. “That’s interesting. Where are my manners? I’m Min Lee, nice to meet you.”

“I’m David.”

“Nice to meet you, David. I’m your senior at the Le Zhao job center.”

“So you were the people that Mr. zhě has been trying to avoid since the morning.”

“He was avoiding us? I guess I owe Guang 200 Yuan.”

“Is Guang one of them?”

“Yeah. You see the one wearing glasses. That’s him.”

Min pointed at a kid who seemed to be in the 6^th grade with white hair and who seemed excellent at fighting.

“You mean the kid?”

“He’s 20. He has stunted growth.”

“Did his parents try giving him milk?”

“His dad tried, but he was never seen again,” Min said, with a big smile on her face. David understood the joke and they both started laughing. Guang turned his head at her looking very annoyed. Min quickly said, "I'm joking, I'm joking. He still lives with both parents though, despite being 20."

David and Min began to laugh once again as Guang returned his focus back to the fight.

“And who’s the other one,” David asked pointing at the third one, who also looked to be around his age. He was quite tall with a muscular build and dark black hair.

“That’s Lao Zhao. He’s the owner’s grandson and the son of Mr. Le Zhao.”

“Le Zhao, you mean the one after whom the job center is named?”

“Yup. That’s the one.”

“What happened to him.”

“He died while on a mission with Mr. zhě. Which is why he hates him.”

“Oh.”

“Wannabe friends,” Min said abruptly.

“Friends?” David asked, taken aback at the sudden question.

“Yeah. I don’t have many of them except these guys. So what about you?”

“Sure, why not. It was nice to meet you finally.” David said with a smile on his face as he reached out his hand for her.

“Nice to meet you too David,” Min answered as she also smiled and shook his hand.
