*BANG BANG* Damien immediately fired a shot towards the door.

"How could it be a package."

Damien never shopped online, and he also never got any packages from friends or family. He just always gets packages from mafia organizations. But the way of reception is not like that: ringing the doorbell and shouting the package.

What the mobsters did when they sent Damien the package was: go straight into the house without knocking on the door or ringing the bell, put the package down, and just walk away. With his current state being hunted by the Special Agents, Damien speculates that the person behind the door is a Special Agent.

After shooting the door, Damien immediately kicked it open. With a swift hand gripping the revolver, Damien looked left and right to check where the Special Agent was.

[Nobody.] Damien spoke his mind. [Did I miss?]

Damien looked at the house across the street, it was the house of the old woman he had helped earlier. Supposedly, if the shot misses, the bullet will about that house. But there wasn't a single shot in the house.

[My shot hit the Special Agent, but where is he?] Damien was confused in his thoughts.

"Damien, what's that sound?" The old woman Damien had helped earlier came out of her house after hearing gunshots.

“Just firecrackers.” Damien lied, while quickly hiding his revolver.

"Be careful when playing firecrackers!" Said the old woman as she entered her house. "Don't get hurt."

"Okay." Damien said with an innocent smile, but in his mind he was saying. [Luckily the old woman is stupid.]

Looking down, Damien found no traces of blood either. Instead, he found a small black box with a horned skull symbol that had bat wings on each side.

"What's this?" Damien said as he took the black box. "There's a good chance it's from a Special Agent, and this box could contain a bomb."

Damien knew immediately what to do with the box.

Damien forcefully threw the black box into the air. While the box was in the air, Damien shot it with his incredible accuracy.

*BANG* One shot directly hit the box.

Damien expected the box to explode, but it didn't turn out the way he expected. The box just shattered and didn't explode, only revealing its contents. It is a ring.

As the Ring fell, Damien caught it before it hit the ground. "Ring?"

It was a large ring that was silver in color, and it only had unique carvings adorning it without any gems.

[Why was the ring sent to my house? Wrong send? Who sent it anyway?! It was clearly not an ordinary courier. If it was an ordinary courier, then he would have died from my shot.]

Instead of getting dizzy from thinking about that, Damien decided to wear it.

"Of course it's too big for my finger." Damien said jokingly while looking at the ring that didn't fit on the middle finger of his right hand.

But something surprising happened, the ring suddenly shrunk until it fit Damien's finger.

"What!!" Damien screamed in surprise at that. “What is this?! I never knew this kind of technology existed. But it looks like it will be expensive to sell.”

Damien then tried to remove the ring, but, “it can't be removed. why? What the hell is this ri- hmm?!”

Damien immediately stopped his efforts, because he saw a black car driving slowly. With his sharp eyes Damien saw the car window slightly open, showing a gun pointed at him.

"Shit!!" Damien quickly moved to find a hiding place. But sadly, he was far from anything he could hide from, and the gun had already been pulled on the trigger.

*BANG* A bullet went straight for Damien's head.

“I'm going to die…” Damien muttered desperately.

Suddenly, the ring that Damien had just found glowed, and instantly the bullet stopped right in front of Damien's nose.

"Hah?!" Damien was confused by the phenomenon. But he looked around, and noticed that everything nearby was frozen silent as well. It was as if time itself had stopped.

"What's this…? What happened?!” Damien muttered in confusion.

“This king did it all.” A voice sounded.

Damien felt that voice very close to him. But he couldn't find the origin of the sound. Until the mysterious ring smoked and released a creature.

The creature was very tall, he was five meters tall. His body is very large, so you could say he is like a person suffering from severe obesity. But what's more eye-catching is that the creature has two black horns on its head, as well as a tail that sits below its waist.

“Wh-who are you?” For some reason Damien asked in a respectful tone.

Even though the creature was huge and fat, it was only wearing a simple black T-shirt and shorts. But somehow radiated an aura of majesty and glory from him.

The creature then answered Damien in a dignified voice. “This King's name is Amon, greetings to the descendants of Satan.”

“Are you an alien? What kind of technology did you use to be able to stop time like this?” Damien said who couldn't contain his curiosity.

“This king is not an alien and this king also does not use technology. This king is a demon and what this king uses to change time is called magic.”

"Demon? Magic?" Damien didn't believe in that, he was a believer in Science. "I see… So where you live, aliens are called demons, and technology is called magic.”

“Don't be like that, you idiot! Do you think this King is an idiot and does not understand the language and culture of this world?!”

Feeling anger, Damien's body instantly shook. “Fo-forgive me for my impoliteness!”

“This king forgives you.”

Being forgiven, Damien asked again. “B-but why did you bother saving me?”

"Why do you think?"

“To eat my soul...” That answer was the result of the knowledge Damien had obtained after bringing up a lot of fictional stories.

"Wrong. Because this King wants to bring you to the Underworld and educate you so that you can become the next Demon King.”

[Take me to the Underworld!!] Damien was so taken with it. [That's harrowing.]

“Could I survive there? I'm human after all. Isn't it just me who will be eaten by the demons over there?”

"Don't worry about it, this King already has a plan."

"But why did you choose me?"

“Hasn't this King told you already? for you are the descendant of Satan the first demon and also the origin of all demons.”

[Somehow just hearing that I am a descendant of Satan, I'm happy and proud of that.] Damien thought even though he didn't know what was so special about being a descendant of Satan.

“But… what if I refuse your offer?”
