The eerie stench clogged my nostrils with a burning passion. The rotten corpse's I laid upon we're filled with mold and were charred from ash.The scene was horrid as Marybeth witnessed my soot covered body being trailed to the courtyard. My heart filled with dread, sorrow, and rage; I couldn't stand it any longer. So, I decided to play with the coroner. I rose to my feet slowly so I wouldn't scare the man; I also used a common spell that every witch knows to help raise the dead. The bodies gotten ahold of the coroner, he has no idea that he's going to be pushed off the carriage. I move myself towards the front to take control of the horses. I started to think to myself, I hope Marybeth is alright and realizes that I'm not dead since I'm immortal. Marybeth...I love you, truly. As I am distracted by my thoughts, my familiar, a black panther, jumped into the back of the carriage.
"How do, Artemis? How hath my coven been?" I asked my dark colored familiar.
"I am well; meanwhile, your coven are filled with hatred and anger by your 'death'. My nose smells the scent of murderous thoughts upon them. Thy shall not worry though." Artemis told me while reassuring my scattering brain. While I take deep long breaths I feel exhaustion take over my overwhelmed body.
