The samples from the second site were selected from three separate areas so as to present an average of the overall differences between soil magic levels that could have been impacted by the differing weather exposure of the cliffside area.
I have taken to hiding my personal notes amongst my lab reports. This is the only place I have found that my Mother does not dare access. Probably because she does not rate my research area, something I would normally be saddened by however now it has a purpose.
The meeting with Freya was almost a week ago today. I am slightly irritated that today was the first time I could ask my Uncle about getting us onto the lab site to make a search. Yes he lives with us but every time I approached his work study Mother would appear to ask me to do something “You are obviously not busy so come try on these dresses.” “Be a good older sister you can help your brother with his homework.” I don’t mind helping but she does not get that I am not being lazy and I am not her daughter.
Uncle Ray was more helpful. I didn’t even have to explain why we wanted to look on the site. I guess he assumed it was part of my project on the impact of old style necromancy rituals on the environment. I really hope it isn’t linked to that... Still I have a tour date promised for the weekend. Just need an excuse to get out of the house and go tell the others.
Tests on the soil samples will be undertaken using method 2b as outlined in the Appendix 3.
