I wasn't ever told what the eclipse was or why I had to be ready for it, but I didnt argue. I liked keeper 3648. He was kind and treated me a bit like a father would treat his own child. He would always teach me about the world which only made me crave the world outside even more than i did before. He told me about Eden Valley, a beautiful landscape full of tall, lucious trees and lime, wavy hills. He also told me about maroon castles with curvy architecture and windy underground paths that lead to all over the world. I always dreamed about the outside world, especially when Keeper would tell me all the interesting things about it. I dreamed that one day i could discover the whole world. Well, I mean, before it disappears.
Keeper always told me that if i want to explore the world I'd have to be fast because apparently, according to him, around every five years, a continent is replaced with another one that has never appeared before. A continent with fresh new land and animals and resources, all for an explorer to discover and take care of. I had fantasies of the land down below and how I would someday cultivate it and love and care for the creatures and beasts that couldn't survive on their own and give them a helping hand.
Anyway, I got up and went outside for practice. The outside area was grimy and mucky and looked like it was dirt and gravel that had been put together by a child. It had a strange collection of small plants and pathetic weeds that appeared to have never seen a drop of water in all their lives. The plants were always a mystery to me. They would grow and shrink in an instant and sprout random leaves and attachments out of nowhere. It was great entertainment though, since there wasn't a lot to distract me in area 3648.
Of course, if i wasn't watching the plants or learning something new then I was thinking about the world outside. I loved imagining all the unusual enigmas down below. I adored the animals that I'd heard about. The Indras, navy whales that flew high in the air with fins that flapped just like a bird's wings and eyes resembling big marbles. Also Hordes, small, blue, ball shaped creatures that fly low and sometimes sctratch with their little, pointy and sharp claws. I was amazed by how weird the landscape down below sounded. Supposedly, there are many curvy shapes and sharp edges through the land that continuously changed the already curious continents into absolutely mythical mountains and mystifications. Even though Keeper knew that I couldn't completely stop thinking about everything else, he still tried to limit my wonder. He trained not just my body, but also my mind. Keeper would constantly keep calm and would push the same or similar standards onto me.
