"What is your n-name, you fellow human?" questioned Dave. He tilted his head to his left as if he was a curious bird then scratched his cheeks to relief an itch from what I can assume.
"Well like, I don't really know my name. I suddenly forgot who I am and like...". I tried to think the best possible words to say howevr my brain does not make me think properly. "I'm just pretty much lost as a person. I only remember that I signed a contract and went into a car... I don't really remember anything else further than that." Now that I rethink about that, what was the contract for? How did I not recall what it is meant for? Is it possible that it is linked to the situation I am in right now? I have so many questions unanswered, with most of my memory being wiped out possibly temporarily. Whether it is linked or not, I wish to be out of here as soon as possible because I am beginning to feel like wherever we are, it is messing with our perception
"Oh I see...", he replied back softly at me
We sat for another awkward minute and Dave slid himself back up. We looked down and our eyes met so I decided to stand up to be on the same level as him. I have no idea how much time has past since we sat down but it felt quite short and nice, being able to come across a person who is put into the same situation as you. It was a miracle because the isolation was beginning to make me insane.
"We need to find a way out of here", i said to start a conversation. "This isn't a good place for us. It's not good."
"How though? I-i don't think there is an e-exit anywhere. I mean perhaps w-we can look around I guess?"
"Honestly I don't know, our best choice would be to roam around and see what we can find."
"Sure anything w-works!" he shouted.
We commenced our search to find clues. I went to look through the empty stores while Dave searched through further down the road where houses are located at. Entering the empty stores feels like I am infiltrating a territory except you already know that there will be no one for miles except for Dave. I have been searching through stores to stores, looking through them thoroughly but to no avail. I'm wondering if Dave has found anything yet, he hasn't returned in a while. I stepped out of the store to glance around if he was nearby but he was not to be seen. I didn't worry to much because I'm sure he knows his way around to get back.
Seeking for clues in stores were a lot exhausting as I thought it'd be. From my assumption, the sun moved by a few degrees of an angle and I'm going to guess it has been more than 2 hours since we've started. Dave still hasn't returned which was the beggining where I started to worry about him. I sat down for a couple of minute before getting up on my feet to go on search for him. Why hasn't he come back? Was there a lot to search? Or is he in trouble right now? I didn't want to think the worst possible predictions and instead, I began to sprint as anything could be happening.
Later to my horror, I spotted him lying motionless on the road.
