A long, long time ago, no one knows when, in the royal family, a young mermaid was born. The little mermaid grew up and with her, the admiration of others grew too. Everyone admired her beauty, her personality, but the most admired thing about her was her voice. 

Mermaids are known by their voice, a gorgeous voice that lured all the sailors to their deaths, but those stories are just lies. Mermaids are beings that seek love and beauty, they don’t kill; they prefer life over death. They can walk on two feet and use their voices to tell stories and entertain the people from the land.

This young mermaid was loved by many but hated by others, especially by a woman, a witch to be exact, who one day took advantage of the princess’s show in the village and took her voice away, the princess was speechless and heard the witch recite her curse:

“A beautiful voice lost, only to be heard on full moon, a beautiful voice that will return when that person is found.”

The princess searched and searched, but never found the right person. At an old age, she passed away but the curse continued until our times…
