The Sintarians are a plague race that has long besieged my home planet of Thenagainia. We were a peaceful people before they came; we lived in a simple agrarian society. We had food in abundance, and every physical need of ours was met. Our children were assigned mates at an early age, based on who they fell in love with themselves. And when a child didn't find love without help, the child would be introduced to others, until a suitable match with appropriate love was found.
This had worked for ages. No child ever chose to be alone forever, and there was always an even match between boys and girls.
But when the Sintarians came, they destroyed the balance. Most of our boys were taken to be soldiers, more accurately, front line fodder, for their faraway war. The girls left behind were captured and made into childbearing slaves, to produce additional offspring, making more soldiers and more childbearing slaves. Only a few boys were kept on our world, to be turned into "seed" makers, against their wills.
I, myself, was taken into one of the seed camps. Their devices and dolls were hollow forgeries of the real thing; designed to extract as much from me as possible.
As for the Sintarians themselves, they were brutally strong. They overpowered us easily and quickly. We knew nothing of war, and nothing of self-defense.
But that quickly changed. Our boys quickly became soldiers too valuable to keep on the front lines. We had an innate sense for how to know the land; so, when placed on the battlefields, our boys found they could instinctively attack, counterattack, and effectively destroy the enemy.
The Sintarians recognized their value, and soon our boys became sergeants, colonels, and ranking officers.
After reaching places of importance, our boys started planning how to free our homeworld. A new scientific section of the army was created. The Sintarians were told that we would find new ways to destroy the enemies. Little did they know that we considered Sintar, their own homeworld, our enemy number one!
After some time, our Thenagainian scientists discovered how to weaken the Sintarian soldiers. A small dart, carrying a syringe, could affect their DNA, effectively making them infertile. Not only that, but the new DNA would be spread throughout their water system. After being exposed to our darts, the Sintarians would have a sudden urge to use the bathroom. Their affected DNA would spread from there to their entire world. And, simply drinking water with the new DNA would change the drinker's DNA as well. Within 24 hours, everyone on Sintar would be infertile.
Not only that, but every one of their ships now contained a "trusted" Thenagainian scientist, or worker. We knew the time was right, so we armed every Thenagainian with a syringe dart gun.
This brings me back to myself. The day came when our plan unfolded. I was assigned a dart gun. However, when the time came to use it, I wasn't allowed out of my recovery room. Instead, I was randomly selected for "The Privilege."
Unfortunately, Sintarians and Thenagainians are biologically compatible. However, despite much trials, artificial insemination of Sintarian females has been proven ineffective. And since the Sintarians are trying to create super soldiers, they're constantly experimenting with "half breeds," as they call them.
Unfortunately for her, the Sintarian female brought to me took a liking to me and required my bonds be released. She thought that by having my shackles removed, she'd somehow gain my trust and get greater pleasure from me.
But, as soon as my shackles were removed, I knocked out the first guard. I was halfway to the second when the girl attacked me. She tore out my long flying feathers before I could react. However, I've experienced such pains before, so my reaction to her assault was quicker than she expected. I knocked her out cold. It took three punches, but I did it. Then I turned back to the second guard, only to have a wing crushed by his hand as I turned.
I, thankfully, was able to use my shackles and chains to disable the second guard. Then I left the room, and flew, er, ran fast, toward where my dart gun was. But halfway there was when my real troubles began. As it turned out, the Sintarian female was some type of governor's daughter or something, and though her guards were more ceremonial than anything else, they were at least able to sound the alarms when they came to.
So, several more guards later, and with several broken bones, and even more flesh wounds to show for it, I finally made it to my weapon.
I wasn't alone, however. In fact, I was surrounded. Good. Now I can get every one of these invaders in one shot!
Activating the gun's wide-area-of-affect option, I shouted the key phrase. "YOU'RE TOO OP! GET NERF'D!"
