At that time Yongrae didn’t realize why Sunjung wanted to go out on Friday but she had a plan. On Friday it would be Valentine’s day and she wanted to have some time to prepare some homemade chocolates to give to Yongrae. The next day she called Seojun for help and they both started making chocolates.

“It is not supposed to taste this way!”- said Seojun after tasting Sunjung’s first try.

“Let’s try again then.”- said Sunjung with determination. Gyeong was in the living room and started to smell what the girls were doing.

“Girls, don’t burn the house down!”- said her from the living room.

“Don’t worry mom!”- replied Sunjung while mixing melted chocolate.

The girls kept trying and the chocolate still didn’t taste good. Sunjung started getting discouraged from the consecutive failures and Seojun tried to cheer her up. Thursday ended and Seojun slept over since they were cooking until late at night. Sunjung kept trying even after Seojun slept.

Finally, after all those failures, Sunjung made the chocolates taste good and she woke Seojun up to tell her.

“It finally tastes good!”- said Sunjung while shaking Seojun to wake her up.

Yongrae was walking towards Sunjung’s house and he took with him an umbrella since he heard in the news that it would rain that day. He went in front of her house and waited for her there.

Sunjung was getting down the stairs with a chocolate box in her hands.

“Hi Oppa, thank you for waiting!”- she said to Yongrae while going to him from behind.

“Hello, Sunjung!”- said Yongrae after turning back because he heard her coming.

“Oppa happy valentine’s day!”- said Sunjung and gave him the chocolate box, “I made these chocolates myself for you.”

At that moment Yongrae realized why she wanted to meet on Friday.

“Thanks, Sunjung!”- said Yongrae while taking the box from Sunjung, “Happy valentine’s day to you too!”

“Oppa please try one.”- said Sunjung, “Even though I made them with love I am anxious to know if you’d like them!”

Yongrae nodded and opened the box to try the chocolates she made for him. He took one and tried it. He was surprised by it because it tasted very good.

“These are great Sunjung!”- said Yongrae, surprised. Sunjung felt relieved after Yongrae said that he liked them.

“Actually, thank you and your hands for making them!”- said Yongrae to her.

“I’m glad you like them!”- said Sunjung while smiling.

Both of them agreed to go to the aquarium today since it might rain. Yongrae finished all the chocolates on the way there. They entered and started wandering around inside, looking at the animals, and taking photos together. They were having a great time there exploring everything.

After a while, they decided to leave and call it a day. It started raining and Yongrae opened his umbrella and Sunjung entered. She grabbed his arm to stay close to him on the way.

They were very close at the moment and glanced at each other shyly. Both of them looked away blushing.

“Oppa I enjoyed today so much!”- said Sunjung, “It was one of the best days of my life!”

“I’m glad to hear that...”- replied Yongrae happily, “I had a great time too!”

“Oppa can you give me your phone for a second?”- she asked him after walking in silence for a while.

“Okay…”- he responded while giving his phone to her, confuse about the reason, “Why do you want it?”

Sunjung took the phone from Yongrae and noticed that the wallpaper on his screen was a photo of the logo of his favorite football team AC Milan.

“Just one second!”- she replied while typing something in his phone.

“Oppa, take it.”- she said to him while giving him his phone back.

“What did you do?”- asked Yongrae curiously.

“I made a reminder of our first date and connected it with my phone.”- replied Sunjung, “So that our phones can count our time together and remind us of important anniversaries like 100 days or even 1000 days together.”

“I see…”- responded Yongrae while nervously smiling.

“Oppa how did you become a Milan fan?”- she asked, curiously, because of his phone’s wallpaper.

“Well originally I became a Milan fan after watching Ricardo Kaka play.”- he replied, “I did not know him nor Milan, I just admired Kaka for his ability to make the game seem so easy that anyone could play like that.”

“Is he the one you mentioned last time?”- asked Sunjung.

“Yes, my favorite player from AC Milan but he is retired from football now.”- replied Yongrae, “Also, he is a great person, in and outside the filed.”

“So yeah…, he is a great role model I think.”- continued Yongrae, “Then later I discovered that AC Milan was like a big family and that everyone is nice and friendly starting from the security at the door up to the president.”

“Oppa that was very sweet and romantic!”- said Sunjung, touched by the depth of his answer, “I knew you were very cool!”

“But did he have the number ten at Milan?” – asked Sunjung.

“No…no, that’s just the number that I wanted to have if I woild play there.”- replied Yongrae, regretful.

“Oppa can I ask you a question?”- said Sunjung while looking at Yongrae’s face. He looked at her and nodded.

“You know how people dating usually decide after the third date if they want to… you know…”- said Sunjung shyly.

“What do you mean?”- replied Yongrae confused.

“You know… if they want to be boyfriend and girlfriend.”- said Sunjung.

“Do we need to do that?”- said Yongrae annoyed, “I mean..., our parents have already decided to get us married so…”

“I know but it’s not romantic if my dad tells me that...”- said Sunjung while pouting, “I want to hear it from you!”

“Even marriage is not romantic!”- said Yongrae, “Is just a contract!”

“Come one!”- replied Sunjung while pouting again. Yongrae gave up while rolling his eyes at her request.

“Hmm okay…”- responded Yongrae while stuttering a bit, “Sunjung do you…want to be my girlfriend?”

“Yes!”- replied Sunjung while squeezing his arm tighter and looking at him, “I want to be your girlfriend and I want you to be my boyfriend!”

After that declaration, they kept walking in the rain and arrived in front of Sunjung’s house.

“Well this is me…”- said Sunjung while looking at Yongrae's eyes and blushing, “Oppa do you want to come up for some ramen?”

“Thank you but I am full from the chocolate!”- replied Yongrae not realizing what Sunjung meant, “I should go before it starts raining more…”

After that Sunjung stepped closer to him and kept eye contact. This sudden movement caught him by surprise and he frizzed in place. Sunjung closed her eyes and reached towards him with her face. Yongrae understood what she was trying to do and felt annoyed, so he rolled his eyes and dropped the umbrella.

He grabbed her by the waist with his left arm and grabbed her face with his right hand. He pulled her closer and kissed her. At that moment they both took each other’s first kiss.

After the kiss they stayed close to each other and kept looking in their eyes, their cheeks were blushing red. Soaking wet from the rain, Sunjung took a step back, she wanted to run from embarrassment and happiness.

“I should go now, bye!”- she said to him and ran home.

Yongrae watched her leave under the rain and then picked up the umbrella.

“Why would she offer me food again, we just ate?”- he thought while walking home.

A thunder hit near him and he realized what Sunjung meant by ramen to her place. He immediately blushed and his heart started pounding.

Sunjung entered her house and called Seojun.

“This is the best day of my life!”- she said to her, “You won’t believe what happened Seojun!”
