I basicially jumped on Bjorn's shoulder as he easily could hold me up. I keep patting him on the shoulder. "Your quite powerful and skillful with combat but why is Lurek the bane of this group? You could have easily make him shut up with your fists?" He looks up to me and while still smiling continued to talk with me. "His older friends are stronger than us thats why but I think together It will not be that hard anymore. Since when did you start training with you sword I heard mister Durxel talk about It yesterday that you only started this week but I couldn't believe that you are way better than that." A little bit embarrassed I start to rub my nose with my finger. "Well I did start this week but I can't be that good, right? Anybody would be at my level right?" He snorts "Certainly not we are training since maybe half a year ago?" Somethings swells up in my chest, I think that's unbriding confidence.
"Wait that's reminds me. You are quite talkative arent ya?! Why did you not talk till now this week?" I see Bjorn getting quite uneasy with my question. I want to tell him he doesn't need to tell me. "Well hm ah well can't tell you that." I understandly pat him on the back. " No problem big guy. Can I keep training with you? I want to get better at this stuff." He nods at me. Satisfied I get off his shoulder. I see Trystan stroll over to us.
"So Thorry I imagine you found a way to get past this little obstacle called fear?" I nod at him." Well I will say this, in the future there will be situations like this again. You must train your mind to withstand things like that. Most of the time thinking of something you want to protect helps or even the most devout prayer to a god that you follow. What you experienced here is what i personally call the cut off. If you didn't manage this much I would have assigned you to a different trainer. Congrats on staying my student!" I feel quite dumbfounded by his response. " What do you mean I wouldn't be your student then anymore? You seemed like you wanted to train me the most." " Well kid I said I wanted to train you as a paladin. Special conditions must be met to arrive at that level where you can call yourself one. You shouldn't always rely on others to help you. You must be the beacon of hope instead for others. If you can't handle that I can't really train you in that way. Though I will say to you. YOU are a prodigy with weapon combat. Don't let It get to your head though. Overconfidence is a slow and insidious trait that will get you and others killed." The joy that I currently feel is being tempered by Trystans words. " I understand!" I bow to him. " Good and now get yourself cleaned. It's time for Rina to return and Alric to demonstrate the spell he should learn."
We salute him with a fist on our right breast. I and Bjorn go over to some guys from the caravan. They give us hot water and a towel to clean up. We both kept hearing from them that we should keep learning but we are on a fantastic path for the next selection. Thats when we see Rina come around the corner. She's all kinds of beat up with a few leafs in her hair that is now ruffed up. I make a small snicker and hit Bjorn in the side to get his attention. He turns around and instantly freezes. I see a bit of red coming from his cheeks. I just blurt It out. " Oh that's the reason why! hahahahaha" Rina instantly notices that laugh of mine and focus her attention on us. "You got a problem, Thorry ? Ha? Find It funny how I look?" I now also see what she got in her hands. It's white spotted rabbit that looks kind of weird. Like It doesn't belong here or something like that. I shake my arms rapidly to an X. "Nononono I laughed about well hmmm ahhh. Well you know Bjorn told me a joke!" "Ahh did he now?" She looks sharply to him and he can't help but avert his eyes. Of course now I know why but still! Traitor! "He doesn't seem to talk that much Thorry." I just let It happen. She slowly walks up to me and punches me in the shoulder. Doesn't really hurt I must say but I act like It did.
"Now never laugh over others okay?" I give her a reply thats almost a whisper. " Yeayeayea I will." I sigh and watch her walk off. I turn to Bjorn and tap him on his arm. " Really? That's why? You know If you don't talk to her ever then you can't ever get close to her you know?" He looks over to me with a shocked face." What do you mean?" "Well you obviously like her dude and you are shy because of that. You know what I will help you fix that. We are gonna conquer your shyness. HA!" And I slap him hard on the back. That was payment for your slow ass reaction but he doesn't even mind It. He just enthustically nods his head in response to my announcement that I would help him regarding that. I can't help myself but shake my head. That will be a tough road ahead of us.

We are now clean and dry. We head over to the arena just in time to see ,Alrik with his oversized staff and glasses, incantate a spell. A small light begins to shine from his staff and suddenly a bolt of fire shoots forward that hits a training dummy. Everybody starts to clap with their hands so we join them. An excstatic Durxel walks over to Alrik and almost lifts him up in the air. "We've really gathered some promising prospects didn't we guys?" proclaims Trystan. They all yell in agreement that shakes my eardrums.
