Once he was safely in his room, he collpased to the ground and groaned. He could already feel a headache forming because of his mother and her obssession with him falling in love and settling down with a girl.
Would it really hurt for him to remain single for the rest of his life?
He wasn't going to suddenly fall for a girl out of the blue no matter how she tried.
Juan debated whether or not he should travel to visit his other cousins. While they weren't as close, he didn't they would refuse to let him stay. The best part would be they wouldn't nag him about getting married.
As he considered this option, he could hear his mother through the door as she shouted for him. Pretending he didn't hear her, he collapsed into his bed. Closing his eyes, he tried to imagine what it would be like without having to worry about the pressure to get married and have kids.
