Ciera goes up to the attic to get her mind off Derek. "I can't believe he dumped me." Ciera rolls her eyes as she starts to climb the ladder leading to the attic. As Ciera stands up, she notices a large number of dolls with black eyes and creepy music boxes. "Wow... this is incredible. A thud is heard as Ciera turns her attention back to the dolls. Just to see a large brown book fall off one of the boxes. Ciera quickly turns her head away from the book, pretending not to see it. But, of course, curiosity got the best of her
Because her mother and Lindsey were not present, she made the decision to take advantage of the situation by exploring the house. Ciera gently picks up the book and dusts it. "Wow, this book is filthy. I'm wondering how long it's been here. Perhaps it's a family heirloom." She opens the book and flips through it quickly. "Is this book written in German? "I can't even say these words." Ciera shakes her head and utters one of the words. "param elle ha ha wid?" A purple glow emerges from the book a few seconds later.. Ciera is dumbfounded and drops the book, leaving her speechless. "Wait, what was that? Ciera is wandering. She sees a black puppy walk towards her for 5 seconds until it disappears before she can photograph it. ‘’ wait.. Is that a spell I just cast? "I believe the sentence I just said can assist me in spawning random animals!" Ciera casts spells for hours on end. Making new discoveries regarding spells. Now that she's learned about the spell book. Ciera chose to bring the book into her room and hide it underneath her desk. As soon as the doorbell rings, Ciera rushes out of her room and opens the door for her mother and Lindsey. "Hello, Mom! "Hello, Lindsey," Ciera says anxiously, hoping they don't learn about the book. ‘’ um.. Hi? "Why are you acting so strange?" Lindsey asks, chewing her gum. "It's nothing, I'm just glad to see you guys!" Ciera said as she crossed her fingers. "Wow, honey, you're not the joyous type." Her mother says. Lindsey sets her belongings down as she watches Ciera enter her room. "I think Ciera should attend therapy," Lindsey suggests. "Pipe down, Lindsey. Her mother says. Ciera locks her room door and casts a spell to lock and unlock it. "ge la kee sho far!" Lindsey approaches Ciera's door and leans against it, listening intently. "What the hell is going on? Lindsey mumbles. Ciera closes the book and begins to leave her room. "What was that?" Lindsey asks, crossing her arms. "Oh, I was just meditating because, to be honest, I'm afraid of being alone." Ciera lied to Lindsey to conceal her secret. "Um... Ok?" says Lindsey. As she watches Lindsey slowly walk away, Ciera breathes a sigh of relief. ‘’ That was a close one .. luckily she's stupid.’’ Ciera says while giggling.
