Soo-Yun jumped a little to grasp her phone. She sighed as she gave up. "Okay, take it." She said angrily and left him alone, unsatisfied. "Why are you ignoring me, Soo-Yun?" Jun-Sang clenched his jaw and glared at Sang-Woon, who was coming towards him. Jun-Sang rolled his eyes and was about to go. "Well, well, look at you." Sang-Woon mocked him. "Not now." Jun-Sang gave him a warning with an icy gaze. "Why not? After all, you are having fun with two ladies these days." Sang-Woon sarcastically laughed, causing Jun-Sang to close his eyes in anger. "WHAT—" Jun-Sang stopped as he saw his father near him. He let out a pissed off sigh and left Sang-Woon. Sang-Woon chuckled and shook his head in satisfaction.

Soo-Yun came out of the party to get some fresh air. Her eyes widened when she saw a girl pointed a gun at her. A gasp escaped out of her mouth when the girl hit the trigger of the gun. Soo-Yun closed her eyes, and suddenly a powerful jerk pulled her close to a muscular chest. Soo-Yun hugged a person tightly, and he was panting heavily. She broke the hug as she came back to reality. Soo-Yun turned her gaze to the person, who was staring at her worriedly. "Are you okay?" Jun-Sang asked, breathing heavily, causing her to nod. His gaze turned into a scary one when Jun-Sang glanced at the girl, who was trembling in fear. She was about to run, but Jun-Sang was fast enough to grasp her arm and pulled her back. "WHO ARE YOU? WHO SEND YOU HERE?" He yelled at her, causing her to faint.

At the hospital, after a short treatment of the girl, Soo-Yun and Jun-Sang were waiting for her to wake up. Jun-Sang was taking glances from time to time at Soo-Yun if she was fine or not. Soo-Yun was sitting with a numb body in a shock which happened two-hours ago. Jun-Sang sighed and stood next to her with a worried gaze. "It's okay, we will find out who was behind this." He patted her head, causing her to burst into tears. She was sobbing harder, making Jun-Sang's gaze soften. "Hey, it's okay." He rubbed her head, and Soo-Yun hugged his waist tightly. "What is happening? I don't know why they are doing this." Soo-Yun managed to say that in her sobs. Jun-Sang gently rubbed her head to calm her down. He bent down on his knees and smiled before saying. "Don't worry. No one can harm you." She nodded at him. "Let me bring water for you." Jun-Sang stated and left to take water for her.

Jun-Sang was taking a water bottle for Soo-Yun when his gaze landed on his father figure, who was sweating badly while talking to someone. Jun-Sang frowned after seeing him in such a condition. "What is he doing here?" He mumbled and was about to follow him, but stopped as the doctor called him. "Mr. Jang, the patient is conscious now." Jun-Sang nodded and followed the doctor.

Jun-Sang and Soo-Yun entered the ward. The girl was resting her head on her bed. She flinched as her eyes met with Jun-Sang's dark gaze. "L-let me explain." She stuttered in fear. "Tell me the truth or you will regret it." Jun-Sang threatened her. The girl nodded her head multiple times and Soo-Yun sat on the chair with the help of Jun-Sang, as she was in pain in her foot. "Someone gave me money and asked me to kill Soo-Yun." She said in her breath, causing them eyes to widen. "Who?" Soo-Yun whispered under her breath. "Who asked you to do that?" The girl was about to answer her but was stopped as the door wide opened revealing Mr. Jang. The girl's eyes widened in shock seeing him in front of her. Everyone diverted their attention to Mr. Jang, who was panting heavily. "Dad?" Jun-Sang mumbled. "Arrest her." Mr. Jang pointed his index finger at the girl. Soo-Yun flinched and Jun-Sang in a shock because his father suddenly outburst. The police drag her with them out of the hospital, causing Soo-Yun and Jun-Sang to follow them. The girl was trying to escape out of their grip, glancing at Soo-Yun hopelessly. Soo-Yun ran to her and glared at the police, making them leave the girl. The girl was about to say something but stopped when Mr. Jang showed her a picture of her kid from behind. "Be careful." The girl asked as she nodded to the police to take her with them. Soo-Yun quickly took a glance in Mr. Jang's direction, who was smirking creepily.

Soo-Yun and Jun-Sang exit the hospital as soon as possible. There were media all over the area, making them let out a sigh. Soo-Yun held Jun-Sang's coat. "I am not ready to say a word in front of them." He nodded while understanding her condition. "Let's go home." Jun-Sang said and smiled at her. He carried her into his arms and Soo-Yun gasped. "W—what are you doing?" She stuttered at Jun-Sang's sudden move. "Play along if you wanna go home." She nodded as she understood his plan.

Jun-Sang took her near the reporter, showing her sleeping figure. "She is not well. Please let me take her home." They nodded and gave them space to move out. Jun-Sang placed her on the passenger seat and hopped into the car after fixing her seatbelt. He started the car and heaved a sigh before leaving the hospital behind. Soo-Yun opened her eyes and chuckled. "That was amazing." Jun-Sang giggled at her compliment. "I am always amazing." Jun-Sang praised himself causing Soo-Yun to glare at him disgusted. "Yeah, yeah whatever." Jun-Sang poked into his cheek and glared at her. "You are so bad. I saved twice. You should thank me." Jun-Sang complained, making her eyes roll. "In your dreams." She mumbled.

Haneul jumped into Jun-Sang's arms as they entered the house and Soo-Yun rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Give me my mobile." Soo-Yun showed him her palms, indicating to him to place her mobile on it. He nodded and placed the mobile. Soo-Yun nodded and left them alone. Haneul kissed all over Jun-Sang's face, causing him to giggle. "I miss you." She pecked at his lips. Jun-Sang took her near the couch and dropped her down. "Let me freshen up." She nodded her head. Jun-Sang smiled and left from there.

Meanwhile, Soo-Yun threw her phone on the bed and headed to the closet. She took her comfortable dress and stepped into the bathroom. After taking a long warm shower, she came out and dried her hair. Soo-Yun applied a moisturiser lotion and made her way to the bed. She let out a tired sigh and took her phone. Suddenly something hit on her mind. "I got messages." She opened the messages of her manager, narrowed her eyes, and opened the video. Soo-Yun's eyes widened as she saw all the videos which her manager sent her. "I need to find out the whole truth. Who is this man? Why was Mr. Jang scared of him?" Soo-Yun said and remembered something that the girl said to her when the police were taking her to jail.

Soo-Yun got off to the bed and went to her wardrobe. She took her laptop and made her way to the table. She placed it on the table and turned it on. Soo-Yun opened the file, which she copied from the pen drive. All the evidence she got in the past few days, she started checking. Soo-Yun was focused on her work, and suddenly her phone rang, catching her attention. She glanced at the caller I'd and picked up the call. It was Sang-Woon on the other side. "Are you okay?" Soo-Yun smiled as she heard his worried voice. "Yes, I am." she replied calmly. "It can't be, no." Soo-Yun's eyes widened while glancing at the screen of the laptop, causing Sang-Woon to shock.
