Soo-Yun leaned on her father's chair and rested her hands on the desk, while glancing at the wall clock. It was her first day as a new CEO of the company. Her dad's manager came inside the office with bunches of flies. He placed them on the desk and pushed them towards Soo-Yun. "Good Morning, Mrs. Jang—"it's Miss. Leon." He nodded as he cut his words off. "Miss. Leon, I was the manager of your dad and now I would love to manage you as well. Soo-Yun nodded and smiled at him. "Can you tell me who was the last CEO?" She inquired, causing him to let out a sigh. "Mr. Jang “''Alright, can you bring me a coffee first?" He nodded and headed out of the office.
Soo-Yun turned on the laptop and opened the CCTV Footage folder. "Let's see Mr Jang, who came here when you were the CEO." She smirked and started watching the videos. Soo-Yun had been watching the videos for two hours. There was nothing in them till now. She was so frustrated and was patting her feet continuously on the floor. Suddenly, the door of the office was knocked by someone. She let out a sigh and permitted the person to come inside. "Miss. Leon, you need to attend the meeting now." Soo-Yun nodded at the girl and took her phone before heading out of the office.
"This way." The girl showed her the conference hall as it was her first time in the office. The hall filled out with a gasp when Soo-Yun entered. Leaving everyone stunned to talk, she took the seat of CEO, which belonged to her dad. "You all can close your mouth now and let's start the meeting." Her cold and dark gaze sent shivers through everyone's body, causing them to nod immediately. Mrs. Jang—, "it's Miss. Leon." She cut off the person and corrected his words while glaring at him coldly. "Sorry, Miss. Leon, there is Mr. Moon Sang-Woon's contract which we wanna discuss." Her eyes widened in shock after hearing Sang-Woon's name. "I thought Mr. Jang was gonna handle that contract." She inquired. "He was, but as you are here and that contract is for Leon's Cooperation so you need to take care of it, Miss. Jang—I mean Miss. Loen. " He lowered his head after. Soo-Yun nodded her head before letting out a deep breath. "Okay, give me at least some time because I am new, as you all know that. I need to re-read the contract and then I will let you all know about my opinion and decision. You all may take your leave now." They bowed at her and made their way out of the hall, leaving her with heavy thoughts. "I wish I made the right decision. This is so hard, dad." Soo-Yun whispered under her breath, while glancing at the projector screen. "I should ask him to help me." She headed out of the hall.
Soo-Yun entered her office and her eyes widened in shock as she saw Sang-Woon sitting on her chair watching CCTV footage. "What are you doing here?" Sang-Woon flinched and glanced at Soo-Yun with a forceful smile. "I came here to meet you" "how did you know that I am here?" Soo-Yun felt something different from Sang-Woon's behaviour. "Sang-Woon?" She called his name, catching him out of guard. "Jun-Sang told me that you are going to handle the contract now." She nodded, making him sigh in relief. "Sang-Woon, I need some time to retake the decision. Hope you don't mind." Soo-Yun passed him a most beautiful smile which made him lost in her beautiful breathtaking features."okay" Sang-Woon stepped close to her, causing her to flinch. He leaned his hand closer to her face and caressed gently. "Hope you are doing well." She nodded and sat on the chair immediately.
Jun-Sang clenched his jaw after seeing them closer. He was about to enter the office, but stopped at his spot. "What are you doing?" He spun around and his eyes widened, seeing his image in front of him. "You?" Jun-Sang whispered. "Yeah, me. What are you doing now?" His image questioned him, causing him to look at him in disbelief. "What do you think I am doing at my wife's office? "Wife?" The image chuckled bitterly. "Do you ever treat her like a wife?" Jun-Sang gazed down at the floor. "You had a lot of fun with your ex-girlfriend. Soo-Yun deserves to be happy and let her do what she wants." The image smirked after seeing Jun-Sang's scared figure. "No, she is my wife. I will let anyone take her away from me." He yelled out of frustration as he closed his eyes. Jun-Sang flinched a little as Soo-Yun touched his shoulder. He was panting heavily. He glanced at Soo-Yun, causing her to worry. "Are you okay?" Jun-Sang shook his head and hugged her tightly.
"What happened?" She asked with concern. "Please, never leave me." Her eyebrows frowned. "What?" Soo-Yun placed her hands on Jun-Sang's chest and pushed him away gently. "We are not at home and it is our working please, Mr. Jang." Soo-Yun turned around and headed to the office once again to complete her pending work. Jun-Sang let out a deep sigh. "What is going on with me?" He shook his head in dissatisfaction and followed her.
Soo-Yun placed her hands on chest. Her heart was pounding so badly because of the incident that happened between them. She was stunned to say anything. "What was that? Did he mean it?" "Yes I mean it." Soo-Yun's eyes popped out in shock at Jun-Sang's sudden voice. "Yes, I mean it." He continued to walk towards her, making her take her step backward. "What do you mean?" Soo-Yun's words come out in whispering. "Soo-Yun," she nodded while staring into his eyes, which were showing her a lot of emotions, making her more confused. Everything was going in her mind which she was going through for the past few months of her life. Soo-Yun closed her eyes when her back touched the ice wall, causing her to hiss. Jun-Sang trapped her between his arms by placing his hands on the wall.
"Soo-Yun, look at me." He was so dominating. She opened her eyes at his demand and stared at them with unreadable emotion. "Do you ever love me?" Her eyes widened at his sudden question. She recalled every memory in her mind, causing her to close her eyes. "I love you. " "I love you too, my best friend." "Jun-Sang, if I say I love you, what would you do?" "Ah, Soo-Yun, you can't love me. It is not in our rules." Her world shattered. "Meet my girlfriend Soo-Yun." a tear rolled down her face. "You are nothing to me after what you did to Haneul." Soo-Yun held Jun-Sang's hand while crying, but it was not used. He jerked her hand away, causing her to fall to the floor. "No, I never loved you." Soo-Yun answered, before opening her eyes.
"Soo-Yun," "stop it, and stay away from me for God's sake. Just leave me alone." Her words made him weak down his knee. He thought Soo-Yun always loved him, no matter how harsh he was towards her. "You know, I feel disgusted when you come near me. What do you think? I accept you after seeing you making out with your ex-girlfriend so many times. I will never kiss these lips and remark on my words." She pushed him away harshly and headed out. "Did she really feel disgusted by me?"
