Soon-Ja is avoiding eye contact With Mrs. Seon. She knows exactly why because she doesn't like her presence here, not one little bit. She can only imagine the things that a woman must be thinking; about the people in her life, she is nothing but a selfish woman. "Why are you so lost, sweetie?" Mrs. Seon asks.
"Sorry, I am not just feeling well." Soon-Ja lies and hopes that will be enough to deter the mother. "Are you okay, Soon-Ja? Should we take a leave?" Jung-Won says with concern. "No, no Mr. Geun, please take your time. Excuse me, I need to use the restroom." Soon-Ja smiles as Jung-Won nods his head.
Soon-Ja lets out a shaky breath as she enters the lady's bathroom. She leans over the sink and stares into her reflection before letting tears roll down her face. "Why are you coming back, Mom?" Soon Ja whispers to herself. After some time, Soon-Ja calms down. "Sweety, are you okay?" Soon-Ja closes her eyes and looks at her. Mrs. Seon is standing there, looking worriedly at her. She wipes away the tear that was falling down soon. "Why are you here?" Soon Ja asks.
She watches how her mom takes out a packet of tissue and hands it to Soon-Ja, "I don't need your pity." Soon Ja stands up straight and looks angry at her mom. "After, After so many years pushing me away. WHAT'S BROUGHT YOU HERE?" Mrs. Seon is taken aback by her daughter's attitude. "Listen to me," "NO, I WON'T." Soon Ja raises her voice to make sure Mrs. Seon would hear her clearly. "You have to, or I will tell Mr. Geun you are yourself a billionaire." Mrs. Seon smirks.
Soon-Ja looks at her mom with wide eyes. "How dare you!" Soon-Ja said angrily, as she wipes off more of her tears. "Oh come on! It's only an empty word. He wouldn't care anyway." Mrs. Seon rolls her eyes. "What do you want?" Soon-Ja asks her. "You will know soon." Mrs. Seon walks away from Soon-Ja.
Mrs. Seon heads to the exit of the washroom when she sees Soon Ja following behind her. "Don't worry Sweetie, I won't tell you anything." Soon-Ja sighs and sits next to Jung-Won. "How are you feeling now?" Jung-Won asks. Soon-Ja smiles and shrugs. "Better." She answers. "Mrs. Seon, we would like to take our leave now," Jung says politely. Soo-Ja nods and they stand up to leave. "Okay Mr. Geun, see you tomorrow." Jung-Won smiles and nods his head. "Shall we?" Soon-Ja smiles and they make their way out of the restaurant.
Jung-Won comes out of the restroom after taking a warm shower. He glances at Soon-Ja who is sitting on the edge of the bed and lost somewhere. He walks closer, “Are you okay?”
Soon-Ja gives him a small smile but Jung-Won can sense that it’s forced, not real. “Yes, I’m sorry, I am going to take a shower." She stands up.
Jung-Won looks at her, “You don't look like yourself… what happened?"
“Nothing," says Soon-Ja as she tries to brush it off. "It's nothing, I promise."
"Alright..," Jung-Won says hesitantly as he doesn't understand, but he decides not to push it any further, he wants to know but he should wait.
Mrs. Seon drops herself on the couch and rests her head. "I am sorry Soon-Ja, but I need you." Saying that she gets up and heads to her room.
Eun-Hee takes pills which her doctor recommended to her. She lets out a sigh and glances at the laptop screen as she has been working since evening. "I think I should take a break now." She rubs her belly gently. "Are you tired baby?" Her fingers move to massage her tummy, "Mommy giving you such a hard time." She laughs lightly. "You are not very happy with your mommy?" Eun-Hee leans back into her pillows, resting her head against one of them comfortably. "I am feeling hungry." She sighs. "Let's go baby eat something." Eun-Hee gets up and heads toward the kitchen.
Jung-Won looks at the empty jug on the table and sighs. "I think Soon-Ja doesn't notice it." He gets up and takes the jug to fill with water. He makes his way to the kitchen before taking a glance at the bathroom door.
Eun-Hee tips her toes to grasp a cookie jar that is high on the cabinet. Because of her height, she couldn't reach it. Eun-Hee let out a tired sigh and glanced everywhere to find something to stand. She luckily finds the stool and chuckles. "Look baby, we are lucky." She rubs her belly and places the stool near the counter. Eun-Hee manages to stand on the stool and opens the cabinet. A small smile appears on her lips after seeing her favorite cookies. "I think we deserve a treat for getting this far baby!"
Eun-Hee eats some of them and places them on the place back. Unfortunately, her feet twist and cause her to lose her balance. Jung-Won's eyes widen in shock as he is the witness to all the scenes. Jung-Won quickly runs to her and catches her before she falls. She rests her head against his chest and tries to calm down. Her breath gets uneven and she starts to cry again while tears run down her cheeks. She clutches onto his shirt tighter.
He sighs and strokes her back gently to calm her. He doesn't even realize that he's crying until the tears start rolling down from his eyes. His hands tremble in fear. "Shhh, shh" Jung-Won whispers into her ears. He can already feel himself becoming more and more upset when the tears continue flowing. "Please don't cry." Jung-Hoon holds Eun-Hee in his arms tightly. After a few moments, she stops crying and breaks the hug.
"It's my fault, I'm sorry" She mumbles and wipes her face with her sleeve. "You should you more careful now, if you need anything ask anyone to help you. You're not alone." His voice was low but full of worry. It pains him to see his wife hurt. Eun-Hee frowns as she sees tears in Jung-Won's eyes. "What's wrong?" She asks worriedly.
"You are crying Jung-Won." "I am fine." He turns around. "Go, and sleep." He says and leaves the kitchen without taking water with him.
Soon-Ja looks at Jung-Won through the mirror while drying her hair with a towel. "Where were you?" She asks in a sweet melody voice. It sounds so pleasant, Jungwon is mesmerized by it for a few seconds but soon gets to his senses and clears his throat.
"To get water." Soon-Ja frowns "But you have no water with you." Soon-Ja says in shock. "Oops, I forgot." "It's okay, I'll bring it." Soon-Ja smiles and leaves to get water.
Soon-Ja chuckles as she sees the empty jug on the counter she shakes her head and walks to the refrigerator to take a water bottle. She pours the water into the jug and fills the empty bottle with water. Soon-Ja places the bottle of water back into the refrigerator and takes the jug. Soon-Ja is about to go to her room but stops as she glances at Mrs. Young who is smirking at her. "So, you are unaware of your husband and his first wife's romance in the kitchen?" she asks innocently.
"What do you mean?" Soon-Ja looks at her confused. "I mean... they are getting back together." Mrs. Young says and leaves her with so many questions.
