"Ughhhh why is life so boring..." I complained.

{Well mine isn't.} I heard the voice on the phone say. It sounded smug and cruel.

"Shut up! You're preparing for a date with your boyfriend right? Don't drag me onto romance please. You know how I feel about it." I argued. "I don't have romance so don't compare me with yourself."

{Sigh... Really, why don't you try to date someone? Just break up if you hate it. And considering you don't like men and find women hot, you should try to find a girl.} the voice of my friend said in a tired voice.

I grumbled. Why would I need to find a girlfriend? All I needed was money, to get my pulls. "I don't need love, I need money," I answered, "Money, Moneyyy," I stretched the word out.

I sounded out the letters with articulate English "M-O-N-E-Y."

Brittany sighed once again on the phone call. {Let's talk about something else. How's Brooklynn doing?"} she asked.

{Has she gotten a parter yet? Maybe a boyfriend? Or even a girlfriend?} Brittany questioned.

"Nahhh, You know, I'm still looking for her dream girlfriend so I can partner them together and watch the yuri unfold." I answered back.

{Yuri? What's that? Also I thought that joke was dead? I'm sure...}

Brittany's voice was drowned, in my surprise and shock, when I saw her walking past.

Hold up rewind. Let me explain. When us three, Brooklynn, Brittany and me, Shiho we're going into high school, we made a joke that Brooklynn's dream partner's name was Amber, she would be a tall, about 6 feet, long haired blonde, light skinned, had green eyes, loved wearing black combat boots, and black leather jackets, occasionally wore glasses, especially when she was reading. She would be popular because she was a cool looking person, but she was actually a book worm that loved to read, and she would only share this side of her with her beloved Brooklynn. 

We would use this to embarrass Brooklynn, even when she claimed that she was Aroace.
