I was having such a terrible day. I felt so lost and sad that when I saw the update I hesitated. In my head I was like “you don’t want to read this now, not when you feel like this…you’re going to ruin it for yourself” . Now I am so glad I did read it. Your writing is so beautiful, River. The way you write about nature feels like a warm and gentle breeze and it makes me sigh, always. I ended up crying so much because I remembered that sadness is not forever, that small little things can be extremely beautiful and that no matter how much you’ve suffered, there is always light waiting for you.
