Royalty
Heres (Female) Eres (Male)
The Viani equivalent of Princess and Prince, but unlike our counterparts, they don’t need to be the daughters and sons of the Rex or Regina (King or Queen) This title denotes succession priority.
The order follows cardinal directions. South, East, North, and West (From 4th to 1st Heir). These also are used for the 4 orders of Ensis as each one is in theory part of their security detail.
Usually, the order when it comes to blood relations goes
1st Sons and Daughters of the Rex and Regina
2nd Brothers of the Rex or Regina (Depending on which one carries the Royal Blood)
3rd Grandchildren of the Rex and Regina
4th Nieces and Nephews of the Rex and Regina
Usually, children are automatically the first in the line of succession, but the current Rex or Regina can decide who to place first in the line and their position is confirmed by the Council of Elders.
Atop the Kingdom, there are the Rex and Regina. Any high noble can become Rex or Regina if they are related to the Royal Bloodline. The Royalty only marries the High Nobility. They cannot marry Low Nobility unless they officially abdicate their right to the throne.
