---***---
Jun Min bowed his head afraid that the person in front of him would see him crying. Tears started to roll down his face like the water that fell from the clouds wetting the earth and everything on its path.
It's painful. No matter how hard he tried to prevent the tears from falling but they would not stop as he felt something piercing his pants from behind. He unconsciously moved closer to the man to avoid whatever the thing that was piercing his pants doing further damage.
"I don't know that you can be a bit aggressive ah." The man said in a husky voice and held Jun Min's chin to tilt his head but was surprised upon seeing the tears at the corner of his eyes.
The man worriedly looked at Jun Min and let go of his shoulders. He took a step back and looked at Jun Min's tear-streaked face and felt guilt in his heart.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean what happened." The man looked at him with a subtle guilty expression on his face. The man was afraid that he used too much force enough to hurt him.
Jun Min ignored him and looked at his back to check what caused the pain he felt a while ago. He bitterly looked at the rusty nail sticking out of the wall which not only tore his pants but also left some rust stains. Good thing it didn't pierce my skin. I just bought this last week ah and now because of this nail...
He took a step to his left side making a larger distance away from the man and ready to run for his life while wiping his tears when suddenly he saw someone he knew walking towards the direction where the waiting shed was and their eyes met.
My colleague! This is my chance to escape without looking like I'm trying to escape from him. Jun Min looked at the man and found out that the other also followed the direction where he was looking at.
"He is already here. I will go ---." Jun Min could see the face of the man standing close to him slowly darken but before Jun Min could finish his sentence, his colleague spoke while looking at him, "Why are you still here? I thought you have already arrived home since you live nearby."
"Ah! I--- I was caught up in rain and forgot to bring an umbrella."Jun Min wanted to find a hole to hide. He could feel the man who looked like the villain in his dreams take a step in his direction.
"Oh! Come here! Let's share an umbrella." His colleague kindly offered.
"He's with me." The man next to Jun Min spoke. He draped his arm over Jun Min's shoulder.
"Ah! Okay! See you tomorrow at work." Probably his friend? How insensitive of me to offer him my umbrella when his friend is with him. Jun Min's colleague felt the man glaring at him, so, before Jun Min could have any chance to introduce them to each other, he hurriedly left the place.
"HE left." The man emphasized the first word while his arm was still on Jun Min's shoulders. Suddenly the rain once again became strong like finally releasing all its burdened feeling. Jun Min felt like crying and thankful that the weather did it for him.
Jun Min could see that his colleague was caught in the heavy rain and was running fast while still holding his umbrella. I hope he arrives home safely.
The villain look-alike found out! How lame of me to have been caught lying. Jun Min sadly thought.
"I will send you home." The man next to him said.
"Nnnn---no need." Jun Min noticed something and started looking for something inside his bag.
"Why? What other excuses can you think of this time?" The man smiled mischievously at him.
Huh? What does it have to do with him if I make an excuse to protect myself? Jun Min thought and turned his head to look at the man just in time to see his mischievous smile. Jun Min took a deep breath and sat on the concrete bench in the waiting shed while still busy looking for something in his bag.
I lost my chrysanthemum. Jun Min thought. I clearly remembered that I also pinned it on my bag along with the other two flower brooches that I bought. I just recently bought that ah.
Jun Min then remembered that two days ago, he felt devastated upon realizing that he could no longer go back to that dream no matter how he sleeps. He almost ran out of tears and forced himself to be strong and to continue living while trying to pick up the shattered pieces of his heart and knowing that some of those pieces were left behind in that dream.
He decided to go out and walk around. One shop caught his attention, its name would be forever engraved in his heart, "The Mountain of Glory Shop". That shop sold some accessories. He decided to go inside and saw different kinds of brooches but the flower brooches caught his attention the most. He chose a small blue chrysanthemum brooch with a red heart-shaped gem at its center and two red hibiscus brooches. He always liked hibiscus flowers because of their simplicity and beauty.
Jun Min really liked the characteristics of the flower, that although after showing the world its beauty, there would soon come a time that it would wilt and the people's attention would soon shift to another blooming flower, it never stopped the flowers from blooming beautifully.
He looked at the two brooches still pinned on his bag. These flowers reminded him of the flower garden in the Mountain of Glory in his dream.
Jun Min felt a sudden movement next to him and found out that the other man sat next to him.
"Are you trying to ignore my presence?"
"No." Jun Min answered and looked at the heavy downpour. Then to the ground but he couldn't find it. His attention shifted to the man's hand and found what he was looking for.
"That's my chrysanthemum." Jun Min said.
"I will give this to you if you allow me to send you back home." The man slightly smiled.
"It's alright. You can have my chrysanthemum." Jun Min was about to stand but was stopped when the man suddenly held his hand pulling him back to where he was sitting.
"I just want us to be friends." His voice somewhat had a pleading tone in it.
Jun Min could also see a hint of sadness in the man's eyes and felt a little pain in his chest. Although he knew that the person in front of him was not the person he was hoping for, he couldn't bear to see the sadness in his eyes.
Jun Min took a deep breath and momentarily closed his eyes. The villain look-alike is really creepy ah.
"You want to send me home? I don't even know your name."
The man's face lit up. "You can call me Mr. Right." The man winked at him.
