“Dream where have you guys been?! It's almost 2 am!!” I looked between him and George, a bitter edge to my voice. “You guys can't do that- I thought you were dead…” I really didn’t like being alone, especially if I didn’t know where anyone was. Dream gave a guilty smile and said, “sorry Sapnap, the supply run got… Difficult.” I sighed, lack of sleep was finally getting to me. “I swear one of these times you're going to get killed and leave me here alone.” George raised his eyebrow as he took off his goggles, “Sapnap… did you sleep at all? You look like you either got infected or stayed up waiting for us…” “How do you expect me to sleep?? I thought you guys died on me…” I looked at the ground. Dream sighed and pulled me into a quick embrace, “We are really sorry Sapnap.” “You better be… I just… Sorry… It's just been a really long day.” I said after a second, slightly nervous for no reason. Dream brightened up slightly. “Well it isn't all bad, while we were on the supply run, we saw something, didn’t we George?” Dream looked at George as he put away the cans of food. I was both confused and tired at this point. “hmm? Oh yeah… We saw more humans.” George muttered. I sat on the counter, and the necklace Karl had given me days before this all happened hung around my neck. I leaned my back on the wall. “Hey, I was going to look for other survivors later… I just remembered that.” I said. George smiled, “Sure. But first, you need sleep.” I rolled my eyes. “No duh.” Dream laughed, “I think we all need sleep.” I hummed quietly in agreement.
~~~~~~ Later ~~~~~~
Dream and George were still out cold when I woke up, guess they were only so awake last night due to the leftover adrenaline from the supply run. I got ready for the day and made sure I had everything in my bag. “That should be everything I need...” I whispered to myself. I glanced at the time. 8:45. About 6 hours of sleep. Not bad compared to some of the previous nights. Dream groaned and rose out of his bed, “gah… Wh- George?! Not again…” I smiled. “Morning…” I picked up my bag. Dream mumbled as he glared at George, who had decided to steal his blankets again. I stretched, still trying to wake up. “I was just about to head out.” Dream nodded as he looked in the mirror and pulled back his hair, “hair is getting long… Also, we need to shave before we grow beards and become the men who wear plaid and chop wood.” I laughed. “I’ll see what I can find.” I left the building, my footsteps echoing through the empty streets. I glanced around, looking at the empty shops. I remember walking through the same streets with Karl, minutes before this all happened. I stopped for a second in front of the old elementary school, where I first met Dream and George. I kept walking, memories coming and going. I eventually got to the nearby shopping mall and went inside. I needed to get in, grab what we needed, and get out of here, all as fast as possible.
