"Kousuke, do you want to go to >>Sakura<<?" asked Mitsuru, giving him some papers.
"Of course. Even if it will be boring" Kousuke looked through the documents. "I don't need some special weapon. These vampires are easy to defeat. They're just smileys, who don't know that their souls disappeared forever."
"It won't be a problem for a Black Cloud to defeat three smileys, right?" asked Mitsuru, smiling.
"Don't praise me so much, I'm a Black Cloud only since a week" Kousuke smiled modestly. "I'll go now."
"Where?" asked the tall man with light blonde hair and golden eyes, standing in the way of Kousuke.
"Hi, Shino" Kousuke smiled to him. "I'm going to >>Sakura<<."
"Should I go with you?" asked Shino.
"No, you don't have to" replied Kousuke.
"Can you explain to me first what this conversation with Kawakami was supposed to mean?" Shino still didn't leave Kousuke.
"What? Akiya is here quite often."
"The one about the >>certain<< request" replied Shino.
"Ah, I know what you mean" Kousuke had a realisation. “Look, I just don't want to leave things unfinished if anything ever happens to me. But you don't have to worry, Akiya didn't agree."
"He finally did something smart" Shino raised his hands to the sky.
"Are you suggesting that Akiya is stupid?"
"You can put it that way" Shino replied with a shrug.
"Just because he's a vampire doesn't mean you have to write him off" said Kousuke.
"Really?" Shino asked sarcastically. "Anyway, I wouldn't agree either."
"What if this was the only chance to save me?" asked Kousuke.
Shino opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but he couldn't. Kousuke then smiled and left, leaving him alone.
"If I become a vampire, I will kill myself" said Shino under his breath. "But if some vampire wanted to save someone close to me, I would agree. And maybe I would trust them for once."
"Trust?" repeated Nakano, walking to him.
"Nevermind" said Shino. "I just... I was just thinking out loud. You don't have to know everything, Yama."
Shino sighed and went to his room.
"Saito, do you have some mission for me?" asked Yama. "I prefer being killed by a vampire than Hirano Shino's murdering look. I really don't understand this man."
"Yama, nobody understands Shino" said Saito, peeking out the door. "Here, go to >>Aoi<<. I don't have any other mission right now and all you want to do is get out of here, so go."
"Thanks" Yama smiled slightly.
"You know, if we had an empty room, I would let you move out" Saito scratched his head. "But you're the most patient of all of us. You're the only one, who didn't want to kill Kawakami, when he turned Masashi into a vampire."
"We can still talk to him. Not like with my roommate" replied Yama and left the Shelter.
"Poor Yama" mumbled Saito, when Mitsuru returned to their room.
"Easy. They just like to annoy each other" Mitsuru laughed. "If they weren't friends, Yama would have moved out a long time ago. Or even left us."
"Well, you're right" Saito nodded, biting a pen with which he was writing the recent mission report.
