I had been brought to the doctor to have my leg checked up. While I was there they gave me a proper exam and realized I had some head trauma. When it had all started I had hit my head and somehow survived in a coma for 2 months.

I was in shock after learning this. 

"You have a broken leg and multiple fractured bones throughout your upper leg"

"You won't be able to walk for a month"

I was taken back to my room and an old man with a short white beard walked in and talked about the state of the world.

Missiles had been launched at all nations. Wiping out most of the human population. Nuclear radiation was released from them creating monsters that roamed the desolate cities. There were 5 known types of monsters. 

WALKERS: the ones I had encountered when I had woken up, they were like zombies but hunted in packs and had some sort of intelligence.

 

ROAMERS: these monsters were built like a large dogs with huge mouths, and no eyes but an incredible sense of smell and hearing.

 FLYERS: they were human-shaped with large wings on their backs and claws instead of fingers. 

DIGGERS: they mostly stayed underground and set traps, if you were unlucky enough to fall in a trap they would burrow up and eat you, they were shaped like giant moles and were very rare to see. 

ENTITIES: they were huge, as large as a skyscraper, some called them kaiju, they can be spotted walking on land crushing everything in their path, or lurking I. the water for anyone to cross and it exploding out eating you whole.

Those are the known types of monsters, but there are probably more types undiscovered so far.

1 week later I was up and walking. Not too good, I was limping but healed way faster than the doctor predicted.

"You seem to be healing at an extraordinary rate due to radiation affecting you"

The town had plenty of food and lots of people. The people were pretty nice considering what's happened to the world and how much everyone lost. Lots of people lost family members, friends, and pets. I lost my mom and dad. I don't know if there still alive or dead. Don't know if my friends Dave and Naki are still alive. They were supposed to be at the party with me, so they might have survived.

The people who saved me were a group in the town known as the adventures. The town is split up into different factions or jobs. Everyone has a job and chips in to help the town survive. The different Jobs include

 ADVENTURES: they go outside the town and look for supplies, 

DOCTORS: they include the people with medical skills who run a clinic in town, 

COOKS: they make the food and pass it out to the townspeople, 

FARMERS: they grow crops and take care of livestock, 

ARMY: they have guns and protect the town from monsters and other towns, 

HOUSE WORKERS: they keep the town clean and do odd jobs around the town,  

GOVERNMENT: they make decisions for the town and decide what jobs people have.

I got the adventurer job. I was put in Mias group. It was a week later before I was ready to go out on my first mission as an adventure.
