The racanted alley laid dead on the lap of quietness, as neither a whisper of the wind nor a purr of a black cat was to be heard.

 Tiara unsheathed her true colours to a lying Asher, who was now able to hear the sound of his own breathing as clear as the sound of his own heart beating, in the darkness of the abandoned building.

Tiara yelled in bitterness as she threatened him," Just fucking answer where the package is, I don't want to know which organization you belong to, neither do I fucking care. 

But, I fucking swear to you, son of a bitch! If you try to stall me even for another second then this will be the last time, me asking you without using my hands !

 Understand ! 

I say, do you understand?"

As she stood there smearing him, Asher felt that this was a situation he couldn't get out of, unharmed. 

So, he abruptly kicked on her knee while lying on the ground. 

Being kicked in the middle of her speech, Tiara totally lost her balance. Instantly after that, putting the weight of the whole body on the hands, Asher knocked on her face with his right foot. 

Shocked by the sudden change of events and totally off balance, as Tiara was trying her best not to fall, Asher jumped back on his feet and took a fighting stance.

Then he said to himself," Finally! those years of kick boxing and gymnastics classes seems fucking useful now."

Tiara, standing back on her feet said out loud," How come I even think about taking a man of your calibre down this easily?"

Asher tried to throw a upper cut punch at Tiara which she blocked between her ribs and elbow. 

Then she jump-kicked on his chest, as he was unable to move due to his hand being in the hold. 

Immediately after booting his chest, Tiara kicked on the back of his knee making him kneel and then tried to knee his neck, on the Adam's apple. 

But luckily, he avoided this and trapped her leg with his hand and shoulder. 

He grabbed her lower rib with the hand that she had been blocking all this time and squished it with all his might. 

Tiara screamed as he forced his weight  making her fall, then he rolled over her body, freeing himself.

He strangled her while blocking her hands between his legs.

Feeling that she had no way out, he asked, " Now tell me. Who the fuck are you? 

And even more important, who the heck do you take me to be? 

Cause, seeing your skills, I don't take you to be a full on psycho any more."

 But she wasn't a girl who could be restrained so easily. While Asher was talking, she pressed the upper half of her body against his lap and to Asher's dismay, unexpectedly rotated her leg about a 180 degrees and punted on his forehead. Thereafter, she smashed his lower jaw and jiggled herself free from his strangle hold.

The feeling of suffocation due to being strangled was still there.

As she struggled to breathe, Asher felt a surge of pain from being bashed on the head.

 Nevertheless, one panting and one coughing on the other side, both stood up as the showdown continued.

She pounced on him with a flying kick that he evaded with a back flip. 

She continued her combo with a high roundhouse kick and then a reverse low roundhouse kick but, then all of a sudden, Asher countered her with a butterfly kick on her face. 

Having her face knocked, amidst her combo, she felt totally off balanced, as Asher held her neck, he slided backwards stretching and splitting his legs apart, making her crash her face on the ground with the momentum.

But this time round, it was as if nothing could throw her aback.

 Even after crushing her face she was immediately back on her feet, just a little before Asher and took out a knife from the back of her top. 

Even though death was at his front gate, still, Asher couldn't restrain himself from thinking," Ooh come on now! Where was she even keeping that damn knife all this time? Hidden in the back strap of her bra! Now this, isn't it totally unfair!"

With the knife, she charged at him like a mad butcher.

As he kept evading her swings, which were nothing less than the paws of death, he thought," There's no way I can counter her now, if I can't escape this building, I will never even get a chance to outrun her to safety."

But his luck, she was blocking the entrance.

 So he ran as fast as he could towards a corner, then jump-kicked on the wall to push himself back and somersaulted to catch a rod that was sticking out of the wall. 

As trained as she was in her killing abilities, reaching a rod almost 12 feet above the ground wasn't something she could even imagine to compete with Asher, who had a 5 years of training gymnastics.

 As he swang round the rod to stand on it, 5 construction workers, who were returning home after a day's hard labour, entered the building after hearing the commotion.

 Seeing a girl of about 18 with a knife chasing a little boy way younger than her, who was standing on a rod almost 12 feet above the ground, was a scene they never even thought of dreaming in their wildest fantasies. 

One of the construction workers spoke to the girl trying to assess the situation. While seeing a loophole, Asher jumped straight towards the window in front of him and rolled on his back while landing on the ground. 

Then without ever looking back he ran like a mad dog towards his house.

[ Half an hour later in the abandoned building ]

    ( A conversation over the phone )

First Lieutenant : Sir! target has been confirmed.

Colonel : How positive are you?

First Lieutenant : Target was way more perceptive than normal people and a thoroughly trained fighter.

Colonel : What's the status?

First Lieutenant : I was caught off-guard by 5 civilians, target evaded the premises.

Colonel : The civilians?

First Lieutenant : They have been taken care of. Sir, should I follow the target?

Colonel : No, target has been alerted, Lieutenant return to base immediately.

As soon as he reached home, Asher locked the door and re-enforced it with this couch. 

Then he looked around his house in a paranoid manner  as he closed all the windows and locked them form inside.

 Lying on his bed, as he tried to figure out what the hell happened to him, his eyes slowly closed as the tiredness took over his body.

[ 1:30 AM. Inside an under-construction housing complex on the 27th floor, at a distance not far away from Asher's house, a dark shadow was talking over a Bluetooth ]

Shadow : Target spotted at a distance of about 937 meters. 

The man on the phone : Confirm identity. 

Shadow : Target verified.

The man on the phone : Report status.

Shadow : Target is alone , unarmed and sleeping.

The man on the phone : Execute target.

Shadow : Executing target on 3...2....
