She quickly descends from the carriage after placing little Yuna on the back, but is stopped by Adonis who quickly stops her with his arm.

“You have to let me go Adonis, please… I need to go now…”

“No my lady… I can't, what would the King's Hand think, her husband if I wasn't able to defend you, the blizzard is coming… we can't do anything now but wait for your Majesty."

Adonis berates Kanami for denying her request, but tries to comfort her soon after.

"But don't worry, our King Akarus is not King for nothing, he will defeat whatever attacked us and will bring young Kaido back."

"Adonis, you wouldn't understand!!... I need to go now, otherwise it might be too late."

Kanami still tries to convince Adonis, but without success.

Kanami, seeing that the conversation wasn't going anywhere, saws his eyes and fists and punches Adonis in the stomach. The same raises her eyes in an unmistakable expression of extreme pain and falls to the ground on her knees with her hands on her belly.

The only thing Adonis can think of is how a woman like her can land such a powerful punch on him wearing great quality armor that is the armor of the 12 sakura knights.

Still out of breath Adonis could not fail in the mission imposed by his king, not to let anyone out of the carriages. With that in mind he invokes his power.

Gambit – Harpy of Orpheus

A harp materializes in front of him, then getting up a little awkwardly he begins to strum the harp which quickly has the effect he expected.

Kanami, who just after giving the punch was walking quickly towards the forest, has his movements impeded by what seemed to be the effect of the harp.

"I'm sorry Kanami... arrff..., but you left me no choice but to use my gambit to stop you."

Still panting, Adonis apologizes.

Back in the forest, the two men who were talking to each other fell silent as they felt and contemplated what was happening around them.

"What... is... is this Sakai's son??"

With an expression of doubt, Yotsuchi asks out loud to anyone who is present and wants to answer him, but without success, since the spectacle there before everyone's eyes takes the attention of any question.

The two knights of the order prostrate themselves in front of them with their rosaries in hand, ready to try to immobilize the boy.

Asks the man who was talking to Akarus and apparently the captain over there of the other two.

The other man named Flintch looks at Akarus in astonishment, he probably never imagined that he would see the High King himself asking such a thing for him.

“And…Flintch I know that as we talked before…you told me that we traced through the energy sphere that Melve Merlin created in order to locate remnants of chaos throughout the world… so probably the sphere detected what we're seeing it now!!... what i mean is i need you to put in the records that this reading was from the venator you sealed. I made myself clear…?”

Still without much reaction Flintch just nods in agreement and says.

"Can you really handle this alone?... even for us of the order who are used to sealing Venators we would probably die trying to seal him."

Akarus doesn't answer the man just keeps looking at Kaido maybe thinking of some way to stop the boy without killing him.

Flintch gives the orders to the other two men nodding, apparently it is a withdrawal signal that is soon accepted by his men who leave quickly with their captain.

“Yotsuchi… I need you to get back to the entourage, the storm is coming and will probably catch the entourage if they don't leave soon. So my orders are as follows, find Lyard as soon as possible he's not far from here, go with him to the party and help everyone get around, I want them to leave as soon as possible so the storm won't get in the way too much, while I do not arrive Yami will be in charge... the orders given by him will be as if they were mine and finally, under no circumstances tell the others what is happening now with the boy, just tell everyone that I am the one looking for just that, say no more!...”

“Mass...?? my king..."

Before Yotsuchi could even finish speaking Akarus interrupts him, still looking at Kaido who is still on his knees next to his dead friend's body.

Without saying anything else, Yotsuchi gets up still a little sick from the wounds of the recent battle, but nothing that prevents him from moving forward and obeying the orders delegated to him.

Yotsuchi starts to run in the opposite direction of Akarus into the forest and at the same time into the snowstorm that begins to reach them, which most likely has already arrived at the end of the entourage.

Akarus draws his sword at the same time that the blizzard reaches them, the king does not take his eyes off Kaido at any moment, the boy still remains on his knees next to the girl's body. Akarus begins to walk slowly towards the boy as the wind gets stronger and the snow gets denser.

Without Akarus realizing it, he couldn't see Kaido anymore...

The wind was too strong, the snow hindered not only the movement but also the vision.

The boy had disappeared into the snow. The king manages to reach the dead girl's body, half covered in snow, but no sign of Kaido.

Near the palaces of Middle Aushin

Sakai walks the streets of the human realm greeting its citizens, waving to some while saying hello to others who wave, the man who is titled Hand of the King seems to be well liked in his realm not unless Sakai owns his own fiefdom Aurin where he lives with his family and his subjects.

A guard formally approaches Sakai in order to pass on information to him.

“Hand of the king, the other human kings have arrived in the capital for the meeting you arranged!!”

Nodding in agreement Sakai responds.

“Well, Elliot…thanks for coming to let me know!! Oh by the way... how is your wife doing, I heard that now you will be the father of a child, young man?”

Embarrassed and a little awkward, the young guard puts his hand behind his head as if trying to scratch it, without success since he wears a helmet, he says.

“Hahahaa... yes, news travels fast here among the guards!!... I found out a little while ago, the news also took us by surprise, you know, but I'm very happy Sakai, I say... I say hand of the king ...!!”

Sakai, hearing the answer, bursts out laughing.

“Hahahahaha... young man, don't worry about these pompous title formalities, I don't give a damn... but I'm very happy with this news Elliot. I wish you and your wife good health and prosperity, your son will come into the world in good health and we hope he won't be awkward like his father, isn't he...??”

The two men near the commercial center of the kingdom laugh loudly together, Sakai then says goodbye to the young royal guard and leaves for a large building full of adornments of lions and a field with several cherry trees. Sakai finds himself at the gates of the royal palace where he would meet with the other regent kings of the fiefs belonging to Aushin and commanded by the Supreme King Akarus.

A routine meeting that Sakai organizes monthly in order to discuss matters of the kingdom, most of the time they just discuss bureaucracy such as territorial issues, trade with other races, defenses and measures against some kingdoms they suspect.

Sakai takes his hand to the pocket of his clothes, a pocket that is on his chest he notices that the pocket is more voluminous than usual, so he pulls out what looks like a letter. Curious about its contents since he doesn't remember putting that letter there, but he has a brief memory of his wife laying her hand on his chest, so with a simple smile he opens the letter.

A LETTER IN THE COSTUME

“My great warrior, I now direct these words to you.

You who I met at a time when I was completely different from what I am now.

I just have to thank you for your commitment to helping me from the moment we met, you are the most precious thing I have with me and now we have two beautiful pearls to take care of.

I love you so much, everything about you is simply divine, I emphasize the brightness of your eyes because they are unparalleled, if I could I would spend the day looking at them, the way you strive to take care of Kaido while helping to govern a kingdom whole is extremely admirable.

You are thirsty for knowledge which expands your horizon and makes you solve difficulties in your own unique way.

You know me, you know I'm not good with words, so I decided to put everything on paper just like you taught me in the beginning, remember? It showed me that not everything came down to killing to survive and it taught me how to write and read and have a simple and beautiful life.”

Sakai then closes the letter putting it back in his pocket. In a thoughtful way a memory comes to your mind is the memory of how the two met.
