Lady Agatha reading a book on the bay window seat, wearing a Retro Palace Sweet Lace Princess Long Sleeve Nightdress, without her mask. With her knee up, she puts the book on her lap, comfortably leaning with a pillow on her back. She was mesmerized by the words of the books as she heard the thunderstorm.
She looked up through the big window and the rain poured heavily. Her ocean-blue eyes catch the glimpse of the sky, and the deep scar on her left eye is in an L-shape from the center of her eyebrows down to her eyes, vertically and horizontally deep scar.
In the guest room, Liam was sleeping and drooling soundly, when a loud thunderstorm strikes again and woke him up. He slowly moves around, as he slowly opens his eyes. His feeding bottle was empty. He was left by Carrie before the rain and went back to the kitchen.
Another loud thunderstorm. Liam starts to look for his father.
“Pap-pa” as he looks around. The room was quite dark with the dim light from the lamp.
And he got scared and start crying
A continuous thunderstorm made Liam scared as he crawled onto the bed and reaches the edge of the bed while he was sobbing. Then, he accidentally falls out of bed and hit his forehead on the carpeted floor mats.
He then started crying out loud because of the pain in her head and tummy as he falls flat on the carpeted floor mat.
As the thunderstorm quiet down. Lady Agatha in her room heard a sound outside of her room. She knew that Creighton and Butler Donald have not arrived yet as she would be able to see them coming from her window seat sofa.
“Is that Liam crying?”
She got off the window seat and walked towards the door and listen. She heard the cries. She opens her door and looks at the far-right end – the guest room hallway. When she heard the loud cry, she hastily walks towards the guestroom and opened the door, and found Liam on the carpeted floor mat, with a swollen forehead, swollen eyes from crying out loud.
“Liam!” She shouted as she hurriedly went to pick him up.
She taps her back to comfort him and to stop him from crying.
“I’m sorry, I came a bit late. I’m here now, stop crying.”
Liam crying in pain.
“Let me see. Your forehead is really swollen.”
Lady Agatha got worried with teary eyes as she hurriedly came out of the room, hastily walks from the hallway, and went to the kitchen.

Ashley washed the dishes while Carrie kneaded the dough as they heard a loud bang on their door.
“Oh, dear!” Carrie was startled as she looked at the door same with Ashley.
“Lady Agatha?!” Ashley looked, startled and in shock to see Lady Agatha’s scar on the face.
“Why are you carrying Liam?” Carrie asked as she was surprised.
“Oh dear, what happened to his forehead?!” Carrie added.
Liam sniffs from crying while his tiny arms surround Agatha’s neck.
“Ashley, please grab a bowl, put water and a lot of ice on it, soak a clean cloth, and give it to me, now.” Agatha's exclaimed with a worried face.
“Yes, Lady Agatha, right now.” Ashley hastily moved as she was told.
Lady Agatha sat on the wooden bench and put Liam on her left lap. She looked at his forehead worriedly as Liam can’t stop crying.
Ashley put the bowl of ice and water, soaked with a clean cloth. Lady Agatha crumpled the cloth to remove excess cold water and put it on Liam’s forehead gently, yet Liam was still crying in pain.
“Liam, you’ll be fine. I am here to take care of you.” Agatha consciously said as she can’t control herself for being worried.
Carrie and Ashley were stunned to see her wiping her tears.
“Lady Agatha, are you crying?” Ashley noticed as Carrie looks worried at the same time.
“I’m sorry, I just couldn’t help it. I can just feel his pain and I don’t know what else to do.”
Lady Agatha said while her right hand slightly shaking, as she gently does the cold compressed on Liam’s forehead.
Carrie and Ashley look at each other, in disbelief yet worried at the same time.
After 30 minutes of cold compress, Liam stops crying and just sniff with swollen forehead and a swollen eye. He calmed down as he looked at Lady Agatha’s face with tears, innocently.
“There you go, now you will be fine.” Lady Agatha said as she wipes her tears again.
She put back the clean cloth on the bowl. While her left-hand taps Liam’s lower back. Liam felt comfortable and felt her warm touch. He no longer cried and just kept staring at Lady Agatha, wondering who she is. Liam never felt such a warm touch. He could feel the bond between him and Lady Agatha.
“Mother, this is the first time I see Lady Agatha without a mask and crying when Liam got hurt.” Ashley softly whispered into her mother’s side.
“I know, just don’t say anything. Creighton and Sir Donald will be here soon. So, let’s just wait.”
Carrie advised her nosy daughter.
“Ashley, can you change the water and fill the ice again?” Agatha instructed.
“Yes, Lady Agatha,” Ashley said and did what she’s been told.

The car has arrived outside the mansion while the rain is pouring. Creighton came out of the car yet got drenched as he came inside the mansion. He hastily went to their room and found Liam was not there.
He did not get changed and just hastily went straight to the kitchen.
He was drenched as he opened the door to the kitchen and found Carrie and Ashley standing beside the wooden bench. He saw Lady Agatha with Liam on her lap and for the first time, he saw Lady Agatha’s face without a mask. Creighton and Lady Agatha’s looked at each other in surprise.
“What happened?” Creighton was surprised, drenched, as he releases his hand from holding the kitchen door.
“Creigh –!”
“Mother, don’t intervene, this could be the most family romantic scene that we will witness tonight,” Ashley grabs her mother left arm, looking in their direction.
Lady Agatha carried Liam as she went towards him. Liam was soundly asleep in her arms, feeling her calm heartbeat and warmth.
“Lady Agatha, why are you carrying Liam? what happened to his forehead?”
Creighton stares at her as she walks closer to him. He saw the deep L-shaped scar on Lady Agatha's left eye. He froze for a moment, as he felt the urge to touch that scar and ask her when and how she got it yet was snapped out of it by Lady Agatha’s word…
“I heard him crying, so I went to check the guest room and found him on the floor with a swollen forehead, so I brought him here to do the cold compress. I’m sorry, I went too late when I found him.” Agatha nodded with a sad face.
Creighton tries to reach his hand towards Lady Agatha yet hesitated to do so. He was worried yet thankful for what Lady Agatha did for his son. There is no one to be blamed. But what made him more concerned about is Lady Agatha’s scar that he wants to know more about what made her modest face that way. A chance that one day he would know the answer.
“Let me carry him, Lady Agatha, you must have been tired taking care of him. I’ll take it from here,” Creighton said, reaching his hands to take Liam.
“No.” Agatha calmly said and looked at him.
“Huh” Creighton reacted in disbelief.
Lady Agatha slightly nods, “I mean, you’re drenched from the rain. You do not want Liam to catch a cold, so why not, I carry him for a while as you get changed? Don’t worry, I am not tired. So go now.” Lady Agatha insisted as she looked at him politely.
Creighton was taken aback as he saw her wearing a nightdress that was almost see-through and he could glance at Lady Agatha's skin tone.
He blushed and looked away immediately.
He slowly nod, “I will do as you say, Lady Agatha,” and left the kitchen.
“Carrie, you can retreat from work. Ashley, please change the water and put ice with a clean cloth, and bring it to the guest room.” Agatha said
“Yes, Lady Agatha” Carrie and Ashley agreed.
She carries Liam with him in her arms before they left the kitchen

The bowl of water with ice and a clean cloth was placed on the bedside drawer near the bed. Lady Agatha put Liam down on the bed, as she puts on the duvet. She could hear the water from the bathroom.
Suddenly, Creighton went out of the bathroom and find himself facing Agatha, stunned. He was half-naked only wearing a soft cotton linen pajama, as he stops drying his hair with the towel. Lady Agatha saw his masculine half-naked body. [looks appetizing in the eyes]
They both blushed and looked away from each other.
“Ahm, I put Liam on the bed. The bowl of iced water and a clean cloth is on the bedside drawer, just do the cold compress before you go to sleep. I should go now, goodnight”
Lady Agatha was about to leave the room hastily, but Creighton stopped her. She feels awkward as she closed her eyes, but she did not turn around.
“Thank you for watching over Liam. I truly appreciate your care.” Creighton said, sincerely. Looking at her from behind, with a comforting face.
“You’re welcome, Creighton. Sleep well then,” Lady Agatha said and hurriedly went out.
She closed the door of her room, as she leans to it. She holds her chest as her heart palpitates, feeling nervous about seeing something while her face turns red again.
“Why do I feel a sudden swelter after seeing him without any on top? How improper for me to feel this way?
She was not able to properly sleep well that night…
