Abruptly, I was jolted by a forceful motion, akin to being hurled across a room within the confines of a container.
"Are the gods themselves delivering divine judgment for disrespecting Uztia? I apologize! Please give me a moment of rest!'
"Just as the report indicated, we have found them. These individuals have been here for quite some time. The question remains, why are they here?" a male voice exclaimed.
I heard a strange voice rummaging through the vessel that held me. In a gibberish mess, I pleaded, "Leave me alone and go away!" I repeatedly kicked the container, hoping to scare off the unfamiliar voice.
"What is that movement? Could there be an animal under the woman's clothing?" The same male voice cautiously asked.
"Dead woman? What is this person talking about," I thought to myself. Wait, where exactly am I?
A shiver ran through me as I realized I was lost in a dark, unfamiliar place, helpless against the approaching stranger. I strained what little strength I had left to lift the heavy lid off the container trapping me, desperate to break free from this endless darkness.
"Wait a second... This woman was pregnant when she died. Is it possible the baby survived? But how could that be? She's been gone for at least five days. Maybe the mother used some kind of preservation magic to keep her body intact and her baby safe," the voice pondered as I felt a soft pull on my legs, slowly drawing me away from the void.
Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by a searing light, as if a flashbang had gone off right in front of me.
