Leon was holding me up to his face, and when he saw my eyes open, he had a bright white smile.
He was a relatively young man that had a charming look to him. He was a muscular man with fair skin, playful soft brown eyes, light black hair tied up in a short ponytail, and a necklace hidden by his shirt. He then handed me to the lady I assumed to be Elaine. Elaine was a gorgeous dark-skinned woman with big soft blue eyes that seemed luminescent, a bright white smile, and an aura that made her grab your attention. Her blonde-brown hair playfully flowed behind her head. God, how gorgeous she was.
And to top it off, she was wearing an alien pink dress that slowly faded towards the bottom as white. But I saw something at the bottom of my eyesight. I looked down at my feet to find a massive pile of corpses lying at our feet. Bodies with flies and bugs swimming in a pile, chowing on the dead. They were decaying…did I come from that?
Seeing this made me nauseous, and I let out a childish cry that echoed through my surroundings. After Leon gave me to her, he said:
"Hold on to the child Elaine. Mason and I will protect you while we travel to the hideout. Mason, how long will it take to get back home before the sun is down," Leon told an unknown person. I snapped out of my nauseous feeling and heard a response:
"How long? Well, since we want to avoid the area with harsh terrain and mana beasts… if we travel at a somewhat decent speed, I would say roughly 5 minutes."
