As the days passed, Jacob began to notice something strange about Sarah. She had become distant and secretive, often disappearing for hours at a time without explanation. He tried to confront her about it, but she would always brush it off with a smile and a quick change of subject.
One day, Jacob decided to follow her. He trailed her through the city, careful to keep his distance. She led him to a small, unmarked building on the outskirts of town. As he watched from a distance, he saw her enter the building and disappear inside.
Determined to find out what was going on, Jacob snuck inside the building. What he found shocked him to his core.
Inside the building was a secret society of people who had rejected the idea of the magical rings. They believed that love should be a choice, not a predetermined destiny. And at the head of this society was Sarah.
Jacob was torn between his love for Sarah and his belief in the power of the rings. He couldn't understand why Sarah had kept this secret from him, why she had lied to him about her beliefs. But he couldn't deny the feelings he had for her, either.
