Ya know- I’m a lot like Jamie. I’m 2nd or 3rd Generation American. My grandma Ethel was conceived on the way or right after her family came from Bray Ireland. My dad was raised by a feisty Irish woman, and raised me to be equally feisty. When I was younger my Irish accent was much stronger but now it shows when I’m pissed off, tired, or when my dad and little brother all start bantering and joking around 😂😂😂
I literally warned my husband when we first met that I had a little bit of feisty Irish in me and he was like 😍 that’s cool.
Also- I’m not the biggest fan of camping 😂
And for the longtime readers and wonderful people who recognize me from the early chapters… my husband and I recently found out that we’re expecting baby #2!! I’m so excited!
Jamie, a softy who likes to grumble, is reeling from a stunning event in his small town. On top of everything else, his high school enemy Aiden Callahan is moving back home. The two haven't seen each other in years, but Jamie can tell that Aiden is keeping his own secrets - and that something about him is different.
