“All i want” by Olivia Rodrigo. Seriously my All time favourite. I love this song so much that i remember the lyrics by heart. It's always set on a loop either it be my phone or my mind.
"..Try my best, but what can i say?
All i have is myself at the end of the day
And all i want is for that to be okay." ♪
Sigh.
Yesterday was a total fail.
And about that jade-eyed guy, sure he was handsome but it was pretty obvious he was not the guy i was looking for. I pushed the book closed. Disappointment still lingering all over my head. "Seems like i will be buying a new book series" i mumbled with a sigh.
I shifted my head to look outside the window.
*Beep-bling*
An Unread bugme message pulled my attention.
It was from Julia.
The message reads:
"Get ready in 5 minutes"
"I am picking you up"
"Wait whst?", I quickly replied hastily.
"4 minutes." She replied.
I love my dearest and only bestfriend julia a lot, seriously. but i swear, at such moments in life i feel like whooping her ass.
*Beep-bling*
Julia: "3 minutes."
I yanked from the comfy chair and quickly got ready, as my soul knew i will regret it if i not.

"So you are telling me we are attending this exclusive wedding since you didn't knew anybody here and wanted company?" I glared at Julia.
"Yah²", she replied proudly.
"Goodness gracious,Julia ! ATLEAST you could've told me the dresscode in advance?!" I burst. "What am i gonna do in my sweatpants at such a highclass wedding?!"
Julia gave me a weird face.
"Just eat around while i take some happily ever after pictures of the pair."
As Expected of Julia. "Sigh, it's no use arguing with you."
Julia: "oh come on gurl, i am aware you don't like crowded places and loves to stick to your peace corners, but i think this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to enjoy such a marvellous wedding together."
Oh no, her doe eyes again. Doesn't matter how hard i try to not get effected by them, they get to me everytime.
"Alright. But don't expect me to be around people, i will find my peace corner around the food table and wait for you." I said.
Julia: "Alright!" With a beam of light coming from her smile.
An everyday romance with bad joke tendency between a girl with book fever (and strange standards) and an optimistic gentle guy who can't read the room.
