He slowly starts to open his eyes, his vision impaled as he tries to make sense of where he is. Laying down on the stoney floor an unconscious Bolt continues to soliloquies to himself saying. 

"I'll make them pay every last one of them." 

 suddenly Bolt feels a splash of cold water hitting his face, he gets up immediatly and starts to look around.

"Where am I? what's going on?" 

Looking around to see if he could get a clue to where he could possibly be,Bolt notices he is now in a partially bright room with a group of men sitting on the floor. Bolt is confussed and starts to wonder where he is when suddenly an unkempt man in handcuffs with deep voice and ragged cloths leans forward to him and whispers into his ear. 

"Hay kid quiet the blood lust you've got there don't you think, Whatchu' in here for?." 

Bolt feels a shiver down his spine and quickly shifts away as he turns back to face the owner of the strange voice. Turning back Bolt casts his sight upon a man with a wooden cup in his arm who suddenly burst into laughter, Aftre some seconds the man streches his hand forward to offer Bolt a hand shake as he holds the empty wooden cup in his other palm of his hand.

"Yo, the name's Gen,nice to meet ya'." 

Unsure of wether to indulge the man or not, Bolt stretches forth his hands with uncertainty, the mans large hands quickly engulfs Bolts hands and starts to swing them up and down. Trying to establish a sense of familiarity between them Gen starts to indulge Bolt in a conversation. 

 "You look lost kid, well not that it's uncommon for a new inmate"Hearing this words Bolt found himself in a state of confusion and quickly scooted over to Gen and whisperd.

 "Sorry did you say in-inmates?".

"Yah kid Inmates, take a look at you everyone you see here is a humanoid quake who either went berserk or became a criminal and is now waiting for either recruitment or execution."

upon hearing what Gen told him Bolt began to look around and he then noticed all the men around him seemed to be in chains just like he was.Bolt then starts to panic and immediately turns around and starts using his two hands to dig the floor like a mole trying to dig a hole, Gen pushes his head forward and raises one of his eyebraws up with a confused expression on his face and so do the other inmates.

"Hay kid whatchu' tryna' do?".

Bolt then turns back with dirt on his face and tears in his eyes."

Isn't it obvious?, I'm trying to dig my way out of this place no way am i going to be exceuted I'm only twelve!".

Gen burst out into laughter once again as he falls over on his back and starts to laugh while he roles on the floor with his hand on his stomach.

"He-he say's his trying to dig his way out, Men this kids hilarious."

Bolt then stands up immediately with his legs crouched down and points back to Gen with a rather funny angry looking face and shouts back at Gen.

"Hey! what's so funny I'll dig out of here in no time you just watch".

Now rubbing his finger over his eyes, Gen looks at Bolt again as his laughter now starts to subside,meanwhile Bolt turns around in order to continue his digging.

"Ain't no way your digging out of here kid, Besides this cell is guarded by some of the strongest humanoid quakes in the country, so it's just a lost cause, save your energy kid".

Hearing this Bolt stops his digging and turns back around to face Gen and sits down with both his leg and hands crossed together while pouting at Gen and directing his sight away from him and starts to mumble.

"Tch, so much for moral support, some adult you turned out to be".

Seeing as how Bolt was feeling down and trying to cheer him up Gen stretches his hands and places it on Bolt's shoulder."

Hey kid, have a little hope besides humanoid quakes are usually recruited most of the times, this country does need more muscel".

Hearing the word for a second time Bolt is intrigued and then poses a question at Gen with a serious look on his faces and his eyes now fixated upon Gen.

"Hmanoid quake?, hey old man".

With a surprised look in his eyes the man moves forward to Bolt and grabs him by his shoulder and starts to shake him back and fort.

"Old man? I'm only twenty four kid call me big bro big you got that biggggg brooooo."

Bolt then looking at Gen with a confused smile on his face he starts to nod with a thumbs up.

"Ha ha what ever you say big bro".

Gen then goes back to his former sitting position and makes him self comfortable as if he were a counselor counseling a student.

"Now you were onto something?."

trying pose his earlier question back at Gen, Bolt starts to speak immediately.

"Yah, so big bro you kept talking about humanoid quakes what are those never heard of them."

Hearing this Gen is surprised as to how that could be possible due to the fact that once one is a citizen of Tasia he or she should have knowledege of the meaning of a humanoid quake.

"Hay are you for real you don't know what a humanoid quake is, look here kid a humanoid quake is...."

But before he could finish his statement Gen is interupted by a loud knock coming From behind the prison's metal door accompanied by a loud voice which starts to call out Bolts name, on hearing his name Bolt is surprised and turns back to face the door as to see who could be calling out to him and goes forward to stand in front of the door as Gen is looking ahead at the door also puzzled, Bolt then gets up and starts to walk towards the door like a moth being drawn to light, when suddenly a voice started to speak from behind the door.

"Bolt Mechna the mine chief has requested for you, step away from the door we'll come get you in a minute".

Hearing this and knowing what it meant Gen looks at Bolt who is unaware that Gen is staring at him and smiles lightly then whispers to himself.

'So there recruiting him huh?". 

After a short interval two men wearing gray jumpsuits come into the prison to take Bolt with both of them holding him in between there arms as Bolt is being lead away Gen calls out to Bolt which causes Bolt to turn around.

"Hay kid, be strong you'll be fine."

There after Bolt is lead away from the cell and taken to a brightley lit and properly furnished office which is within a large building outside the Mine with the cell located directly underneat the bulding, Bolt is then positioned in front of a desk with a man who seems to be in his late fourty's dressed in a white shirt and black suit with a properly jelled and parted blond hair, he then indicates to the men who brought Bolt to leave them alone using his hand to gesture them off, on seeing this the tow men immediately make there exit, the man then looks at Bolt with a smile and starts to clap slowly.

"Bolt Mechna, the Bolt Mechna who activated his core at the age of only twelve, quite and impressive feat don't you think, I mean most humanoid quakes get to activate there cores at the ages of ninetheen and above, but you (now pointing at Bolt) you activated yours at twelve( chuckles softly) splendid! simply splendid!".

Upon hearing this familer word Bolt looks up to the man with a sharp gaze at him and in an angry tone Bolt questions the man.

"Who are you?, what do you want from me?, and what's a humanoid quake?"

Shocked after hearing Bolts third question, the man gets up and starts to walk around the office with his hands placed behind his back while looking at Bolt.

"You mean to tell me you a citizen of Tasia dosent know the meaning of a humanoid quake?".

Bolt thern looks back at the man as he replies him.

"No".

The man then stops walking directly in front of Bolt and says.

"Well we simply can not have That, Let me enlighten you, you do know how the crystals which you Mine workers mine are created don't you?".

with a confused look in his face Bolt nods back at the man

"Very good,Very good, makes my explanation much easier now, there are some people in our society who happen to have breathed in the gas that emited from the cracks within the ground four years ago, now, as a result of coming in contact with the oxygen within there body the gas formed into Crystals which merged within those people's body and we refer to those internal crysals as "cores"."

On hearing this Bolt becomes shocked and immediately starts to pay more attention as the man resumes walking around while continuing his explanation, Bolt eye's become fixated on him as a result of being intrigued.

"Now having this crystals which have been said to produce a large amount of kinetic energy and could even be used to amplifie energy within there bodys ,those people are gifted with amplified human capabilities ,running faster than a normal human, more physical strenght than a normal human,more durablility than a normal human and lastly (in a meancing tone) more deadly than a normal human and as a result of those pepole obtaining said powers from the earth quake four years ago we call them humanoid quakes"

.Going back to his chair to take a sit he looks at Bolt and smiles.

"And now as to who I am and what I want from you My name is Jack Technon and I ( stretching his two hands out) I am the head of the east Mine district under the national Tasian Mine assosation, and I want you to work under me as it is my Job to recruit both Mine workers to work in the mine in order to excavate crystals and Humanoid quakes or as you people call them, Surface workers to fight against the earth monsters which terrorize us because lets be fair,why have such immense power and not put it to good use, so Bolt Mechna will you work for me?".

On learning that Jack was the leader of the surface workers and people who killed old man Lox he stands up in a fit of rage and rushes to the front desk and slams it.

"You're the one!, you killed my family!, you're gonna pay!".

Jack then starts to giggle softly, after some seconds he looks back at Bolt.

"You know for a twelve year old you really speak like an adult don't you (pushes Bolt back and changes his tone to serious tone), listen Bolt Mechna, I'll give you four months to think about it, why four months you ask?, well its because i think you're still too young and thus you're mind is clouded by nonsens notions such as revenge, But after four months if you've not made you're decision by then I'll make one for you."

After saying this Jack calls in some men to take Bolt back to the mines to continue working, immediately two men come in and start taking Bolt away ,as Bolt is being dragged away he fights back but is overpowered and then the men close the door. Thereafter Jack gets up and picks up a picture frame containing a man and a woman both smiling as the man holds a baby and says to himself.

"Nut, pretty interesting son you've got don't you think?".
